As an antidote to all the Gunpowder, Treason and Plot that's in the air at the moment, why not come and spend some time with us at the Southside Bar on Sunday, 6th November. Yes, the night before is Guy Fawkes night, a fact that we chose to completely ignore when planning this party, so we won't mention it again.

Instead, I shall tell you of the delights awaiting you at this month's bash...

Downstairs this week, we have an impressive lineup for you all to get your fangs into - residents Chris Cee will be joined by the following awesome guests.

First up is Fat! Records latest signing, Merka aka Mark Ford. Merka's debut track 'Holding On' made it onto the Freestylers compilation for Fabric, and his latest release 'Hug A Speaker' has received much acclaim from the critics for its upfront yet original sound, and found its way into many top DJ's boxes. Proactive star Jacob Moss is a well-loved mainstay of the London Scene whose pumping Electro-House has graced the dancefloor of many a top London venue and it's a pleasure to have him down for some NORQ! naughtiness.

Our third guest is Ilana Belsky who is firmly establishing herself as an up-and-coming DJ to watch, with sets under her belt at the likes of Addiction, Hard House Academy and Becomeone to name but a few.

Upstairs, residents Wub and Simon D will be joined by Beat Collective DJs who will be upping the tempo a bit with some groovy tribal house and funky tech beats.

Oh, since the last few NORQ! themed events have worked so well, we're upholding the tradition with this month's theme: Geek Chic, so extra kudos will be awarded to anyone looking especially nerdy and cool at the same time. Embrace your inner nerd! Clip on that tie! Bring your physics textbook! Iron those nylon slacks!
