Micky, you are only one of a host of top DJ's and Artists joining La Vita's quest to raise money for Breast Cancer Research. What does it mean to you to be involved with such a huge charity event?

It means alot. I, like many people lost a relative to cancer. So it is a true honour to be involved with La Vita and to raise money for Breast Cancer Resaerch.

As we have already mentioned, you are one of many top acts that will be @ Studio Valbonne on the 20th March but who are you looking forward to hearing most?

I guess everyone has said this but it has to be Todd Terry, i have never seen him live and the guy is an absolute legend, i am definately looking forward to hearing him.

2007 was a massive year for you, what can we look forward to in 2008 from Micky Slim?

Alot more original material, i spent most of 2007 doing remixes but i have been more focused this year on getting my own original track finished. I have also recently launched my own agency, Bomb Squad Artists where i am looking to develop new talent.

What is the best gig you have ever played?

My Birthday last year at Judgement Sundays has to one of the best that i had ever played! There was a real, real crowd in Es Paradise that night and its always great playing for such an appreciative crowd, it was very special!

What is the worst gig you have ever played?

Honeyclub - Brighton - WHACK!!!!

What is your favorite track of all time?

My all time favourite track in the world is Earth Wind & Fire - Lets Groove. Its a timeless disco classic and i loooooooove it.

You have done charity events in the past, including your own party to raise money for the Asian Tsunami. How important do you think it is for the dance industry to get behind such great causes?

Last year i did "Get Involved" which is a great charity run by Sacha's dad, i think it is very important for the dance industry to get behind good causes. Alot of Charitys rely soley on donations so without support of industries like the dance music industry they would not be able to survive. You never know when you may need help yourself so i think its always good to help others so buy your tickets now!

This summer, La Vita will be embarking on their second season in Ibiza. What is your favourite Ibiza memory?

It was Nic Fanciullis Birthday party in 2005 without a shadow of a doubt! It was my birthday the day after and we were living in Ibiza for the season with Lee Burridge. I would love to go into details but probably shouldnt!
