Music : Electro House, Tech House, Breaks and Funk

Having officially launched the summer in May, with the first in our Summer Boat Party Series, an event which saw 300 of you ace faces rock the boat on the hottest weekend of the year so far, we’re at it again and this time we’re really going to make some waves (*groan)…
Australia’s No.1 export and Breakspoll winner, Friendly makes a long awaited return after playing at the very first Platform 12 last year and, taking time out from cutting his debut album, we’re extremely proud to welcome on board Hyper, a global star who needs little introduction.
Joining them will be residents Clive Morley & Ladykilla alongside special guest Kid Blue – expect breaks all the way with everything from the really funky to the dirty-electroey-techy stuff.

Platform 12 has fast gained a reputation as one of the best nights around (DJ Mag top 5 night), certainly one that has the best vibe, and we’ll be doing all we can to make sure you have a great time. There’ll be the usual thumping soundsystem (apologies to those that live along the river), live b-b-beatboxing and the Ladykilla armed with his new supersoaker for those that get too hot!
Offering some of the most unique views in London, the three tiered
Dutch Master, with its completely open top deck is the perfect venue for the boat party. The vessel, which aims to get as far as the Thames Barrier before returning back, has two well-stocked bars, a chill-out room, a terrace and of course the main room which has been left bursting at the seams in the past when breaks legends such as
Krafty Kuts, The
Freestylers,
Stanton Warriors,
Tayo,
Deekline & Wizard, and
Ils have all whipped capacity crowds into an almighty frenzy.

| HYPER |
 |
One of the hardest working men in music Hyper has touched down and performed in the last year in places as far apart as Japan to Germany, USA to Serbia, UK to China, The Fareo Islands to Australia. He continues to rock crowds with his big-room breaks style and energetic performance behind the decks – you'll know where the name Hyper comes from when you see him play!! |
| FRIENDLY |
 |
Friendly, originally from Australia, is a main room resident at London's infamous End Club, with Chew the Fat!. He's also played at every shady dive and backroom in London, around the UK, Budapest, Barcelona, Russia, across to the US and back to Australia numerous times. With world class production, a keen eye for dancefloor sensibilities, and a penchant for tracks named after shady sexual references, Friendly is working hard at establishing himself as a major player in breaks. His current single, The Bump and Grind is undoubtably one of the breaks anthems for 2004.
