DSI Meet Up - February
I'm thinking the Big Chill House in King's Cross. Nice and central and near a major station.

Who's up for this?

I wouldn't say I get cravings as in OMG I NEED A FAG RIGHT NOW but occasionally, usually after a massive meal, I'll find myself thinking "A cigarette would complete the moment right now"

Yeah, that's what I mean - it passes quickly but you still get the feeling that a ciggie would be nice

I havent been what you'd call a cigarette smoker for a couple of years now. Every now and then after a skinful I'll have a couple of cheeky fags, but its the smell on my hands after smoking cigarettes that i cant stand, it makes me feel sick.

If you give up before 30, it usually takes around 4 years for your lungs to completely clear, meaning by 34 you'll have the lungs of someone who has barely touched a cigarette.

I gave up for 4 months and put £30 a week into a make shift box that I had taped up. When I started again I treated myself to a big bender.

Well, if you're not going I'm not going. It wouldn't be the same without you.

I stopped 9 years ago. I have absolutely no desire whatsoever to smoke tobacco ever again.

Giving up is hard, I did well for a few weeks but keep slipping when I've had a drink. Not cool =(

Giving up is hard

Maybe if you called it something better than "giving up" you might find it easier than you've ever thought before?!
