Music : Jackin House, Electro House, Dirty House, Deep House, Tech House, Minimal Techno, Detroit Techno, Funky Techno, Acid Techno and Electro Techno

Having decided to go fortnightly for the new year, Pulp have received nothing but praise for their efforts in 2006. 5 screaming parties – ending off the year on an incredible high (capacity crowd, Cheshire catz at the helm), and with the up-and-coming star of Lee Jarvis booked in for the first January event means the promoters' hard work is actually paying off.
While focusing tightly on an underground music policy, where previous guests DJs have included Clint Lee (Papadiso), Sophie Oliver (Retox), & The Cheshire Catz (Fakt Recordings) & Lee Jarvis, its time to step things up a notch by welcoming world renowned DJ/producer/remixer SPENCER PARKER. Things will get underway with resident Alex Nagshineh (DJ & hotly-tipped producer to watch) providing a selection of melodic tech house and minimal alongside a peppering of his own skillfully crafted and crowd-pleasing productions. Promoters Kerry Wallace & Brad 212 Finlay will step things up a notch with their storming selection of big-room minimal grooves before our special guest takes the helm.
With the current 3am license and recently sound proofed, renovated and redesigned 220 capacity ground floor, The Chapel Bar is an ideal location for an event of this caliber. Pulp succeeds where other parties of this size fail because those booking the DJs, drawing the crowds and marketing the night are out in the scene, using their contacts and keeping abreast of current trends. Adding this to the recently boosted 4500W Turbosound PA system means that The Chapel Bar is more than your average DJ bar and PULP is very pleased to welcome one the globes most recognized names on the underground house/techno scene.
Spencer Parker is one of Europe's leading DJs, his unique style of house music is in demand the world over and with his productions, remixes and re edits being supported by such names as Deep Dish, Tiefschwarz, X Press 2, Nic Fanciulli and Pete Tong, the future looks bright.
Spencer's style is simply best described as underground electronic house music. Preferred record labels range from the electro stylings of Get Physical, Cocoon, Bpitch Control and Kitsune through to the uber-cool house of Buzzin Fly, SAW, Yoshitoshi and Tenax. A set from Spencer would include minimal, electronic and acid house, some jackin' tracks and the odd cool vocal, all played while utilizing an array of effects. Spencer has held a highly successful 3 year residency at The Cross in London and continues to regularly guest at the capitals best clubs, including Fabric, Ministry Of Sound, The End and Turnmills as well as being in demand worldwide, with recent visits alone including Russia, Belgium, China, America, Australia, France, Italy and Slovenia.
So for those looking for an underground musical experience, a late night party and a switched on crowd to get down with, PULP is your only choice in the area.
