After a well deserved bank holiday break, SASH kicks her doors open again with wind in her sails and a SERIOUSLY hard hitting diary of top-drawer DJs mapped out for the coming Autumn period. We start off on Sunday 2nd September with Toolroom Records’ latest addition Danny Graham - recently labeled Mixmags’ “One To Watch”.

Spread out over two floors, Sash makes full use of the Chapel’s two bars and covered / heated roof terrace. With DJs on the ground floor featuring a whole spectrum covering range of house, deep house, tech house and a smattering of funky house, punters enjoy the leather couches, air conditioning and intimate atmosphere and thumping sound system. While upstairs, upcoming DJs keep things cool with Balearic beats, classics, and a smattering of Old Skool Hip Hop – fun is the promoters only requirement.

This week, we proudly welcome a new addition to the suburb signings Toolroom records has made of late. Danny Graham is one of a number of exciting, new and hardworking talents breaking through from the UK.

It all started in November 2003 when he was featured in IDJ magazine and contacted by magazine music reviewer Zimbardo to play at his Distraekt Records party in Miami alongside the likes of Tom Stephan and Deepgroove.

Since then Danny’s profile abroad has kept rising, particularly in Eastern Europe. His headline sets are gaining him a fan base throughout the region with top gigs in great venues such as Piekarnia, Sonobar, Bledne Kolo & Midgard (twice) in Poland, Global & Activity Zone in Lithuania, Club Dokk & Bling Bling in Hungary and many others.

On home turf Danny has rocked the Hi-Fi Festival, Godskitchen Global Gathering, Ministry of Sound, Turnmills, Opera House, The Zap, Dusk Till Dawn, Empathy, Riffraff and many other great nights around England playing alongside top DJ’s like Funk D’Void, Valentino Kanzyani, Fergie, Desyn Masiello, Nic Fanciulli & Meat Katie.

Danny combines his DJing with studio work. His productions with studio partners Dave Robertson, Rob Mooney & PJ Davy has resulted in a number of successful singles and remixes on great labels like the mighty Toolroom Records, Benchmarc Records, EQ of Australia, Proton Music in the U.S and Bass For Breakfast, Adjust Recordings and PunchFunk in England gaining airplay from The Trophy Twins and Fergie on Radio 1 and on Hernan Cattaneo’s ‘Metrodance’ show.

Support on the day comes in the shape of the three consistently rocking Sash residents. Dominique Danielle – the hardest working DJ we know and the best thing about HouseFM. Ben Dela-Peña – Zipcode promoter at Plan B and latest addition to JNR J & Kriss Derangs’ Devoré record label and finally, Brad 212 Finlay – a long standing figure on the Londons’ undground house / tech house scene and a regular at 54.

With tequila & sambuca shots being hussled at a mere £1.50, the party is always fired up to near boiling point and with two outdoor smoking sections, Sash Sundays are a wicked way to finish off your Saturday night session, or get the ball rolling for your Sunday night.
