TRACY CALDWELL
In a short space of time, Tracy Caldwell has made progress that your average DJ would take years to achieve. Playing a blend of Minimal and Tech House she is certainly causing a stir. Sept 04' Tracy secured a weekly Saturday night residency at Bar Room Bar (Bristol) only 4 months after she started mixing. From then on she has gone from strength to strength. Starting out by securing bookings at nights such as Pukka Up and Hed Kandi, she has then progressed onto playing at a variety of nights and festivals around the UK and Europe such as; Escape Into The Park 05, Dirtbox (Turnmills & The Cross), Papadiso (The Egg), Bitch (Sankeys),Play, Housework, Disco Slut (Ibiza) and many more! Tracy’s most prolific set to date being Global Gathering 2006 for the gurn.net website. In addition to this, she was also published in Dec 06 copy of IDJ Magazine as a runner up in the Raw Talent feature. 2006 also saw Tracy secure a prestigious residency with Bristol‘s most infectious night, Loco. Here she will be Djing alongside some of the best well respected DJ’s and producers, both established and up and coming, and if that wasn't enough she started 2007 by warming up for the mighty Tiefschwarz at the ISSST! New Years Day secret after party. Tracy has a versatile approach to Djing, she is constantly exploring new music, which enables her to develop the tenacity to succeed as a DJ. 2007 sets to be a promising year for Tracy, she has future bookings throughout the UK and Europe and also has plans to hit the studio.
TWISTED AUDIO
One half of Twisted Audio, Sarah and Warren all have a history of clubbing and house music which started in the early 90s. From visiting illegal raves in Manchester, clubs like the Hacienda, Thunderdome, Konspiracy and Home to the early days of the Ministry of Sound, Club UK, and the clubs of Bournemouth and the South Coast plus annual pilgrimages to Ibiza they bring a long and passionate love of house music and clubbing that is still going strong. Sarah has only recently started playing out, but has she’s already warmed up for Hybrid, Chris Fortier, Kasey Taylor, and has played at Jamm in Brixton, MOS, the Whitehouse in Clapham, and most recently supporting Kazell at Audio Deluxe. Her sets include elements of tech/deep/electro/tribal/minimal prog which take people on a journey. Warren has been a resident at Twisted Melon and warmed up for Nick Warren, Jonathan Lisle, Hybrid, Kasey Taylor, Steve Gerard, and Ricky Stone. He has also played at The Cross, MoS and various gigs in Europe, most notably Zurich. A recent highlight was playing Easter Bedrock at Heaven in April 2006. Sarah, Warren and Andy are very excited about the launch of TWISTED AUDIO and the alternative it will now bring to London in 2007, especially after the amazing success of their recent party with Luke Fair, in March, which sold out!
