Fantastic disco-pop-funk band Paleday headline this Select Cuts/Feedme Music night of amazing live music for the Europride Festival also featuring BushGuru, Portugirl Beat Company and Plavka (of Jam n Spoon and The Shamen fame). Followed by retro disco until late. On Fri 23 June, PALEDAY are attempting to raise over £1000 for Pride London with their headline Europride Festival gig at the Clapham Grand, a venue featuring Europe's largest underlit dancefloor (á la Saturday Night Fever!). Paleday will donate a pound from every ticket and t-shirt they sell for the event. Since the venue's capacity is over 1000, Paleday hope with the help of the scene that they can donate over one thousand pounds to the charity to help raisse awareness of LGBT issues and combat homophobia. With growing support and a tv series in the pipeline, Paleday are the ones to watch. Gorgeous frontman Anthony Jackson-Stubbs said, "Paleday are a unique, live, polysexual disco-pop outfit. Imagine a new Bee Gees, with Chic riffs, and a Scissor Sisters edge. There's nobody quite like us performing today. We give great metrosexual head, musically speaking. Anyone who likes live music and disco should get on down to the Grand and shake their thing to our funky sounds. Paleday are creamier than a gay cow and hot enough to melt Madonna's confessional glitterballs. You won't see us up on a cross because we have too much fun getting down!
