the last circoloco on the 3rd may was terrible. i had friends visiting from australia and i wanted to take them to a london club so i thought circoloco would be great but it was really bad club night. the music was crap. the whole dance floor wasn't dancing and the only time anyone got excited was when the music almost built up then it would never amount to anything. the djs didnt read the crowd at all which to me is part of their job. it was terrible and i was disappointed that my overseas friends couldn't enjoy a good club night whilst in london. plus it was well expensive for such unimaginative music. 7 of us went which is a lot of money on tickets and it was not worth it. lucky we know how to entertain ourselves and we left after 2 hours. the djs should really try harder next time. its a shame cos i have been to good circoloco parties in the past but i wont go to another in the future.

I also thought the event was incredibly average, musically and production wise. There was hardly any real atmosphere throughout the night. Even from the initial outset of walking up to the Coronet's front door we were greeted by a large group of rowdy pikeys trying to take on the bouncers and attempting to hop over the barriers to fight some other lairy individuals inside the foyer. Not good!
I felt this vibe continued to show over the evening, especially judging by the ridiculous amount of security lurking about the venue. I know they are there to do a job but it was almost unsettling at6 times being watched upon constantly, i know if definetly was welcomed by all the females in my group.
It just shows what a difference it can make as to where Circo Loco choose to throw their parties.
Id avoided CL parties over the past year or so as id seen a massive decline in the musically enthusiastic crowds attending and the increase of wannabe gangsters, chavs and general cunts but thought seeing as it was in a place id not been to in a long time coupled with a rather fine line up id give it the benefit of the doubt on this occassion.....now i just wish id stuck my initial decision. i to very much doubt that il be paying visit to another one of their events in this country. :-(
