MUZIK X-PRESS celebrates it’s first birthday at The Cross on Saturday 5th February. Regular guests at clubs around London, X-Press 2 broke the trend with a need to have their own party and, following their album launch former acid house venue Crash, returned for a series of dates hosted by themselves and friends in the second room. Due to popular demand the party soon outgrew Crash and moved to The Cross, a venue always special with the guys who have been regular guest there since 1995. It was here that MUZIK X-PRESS was born and 1 year down the line the parties are a roadblock offering a chance to catch X-Press 2 embark on a musical marathon of five hours in the main arch while in the middle arch offers a lighter alternative introducing a series of special guests.
In celebration of their roots and as a birthday special X-Press 2 will be delivering 8 hours of Acid House tunes in the main arch from start to finish while in the middle arch an ensemble cast of MUZIK X-PRESS regulars will be joined by Swedish DJ/Producer Stonebridge. Still on a high from his smash single ‘Put ‘Em High’, which garnered him a No 6 in the UK Top 40, No 1 in the dance charts, it is still hard to catch him in the UK and this represents the launch of his new single ‘Take me away’. If that wasn’t enough Circo Loco resident Jo Mills will be dropping in before her weekly residency in Ibiza starts to finish proceedings in the Middle Arch. In the third arch residents Darren and Spencer will be joined by Jade and DJ Paulette.
X-Press 2 would like to thank everyone, especially the regulars who have supported MUZIK X-PRESS – see you soon
