It’s the big one on February 4th MUZIK X-PRESS celebrates it’s second year with a monster party at it’s home in the Cross London. X-Press 2 broke the trend with a need to have their own party and, following their album launch former acid house venue Crash, returned for a series of dates hosted by themselves and friends in the second room. Due to popular demand the party soon outgrew Crash and moved to The Cross, a venue always special with the guys who have been regular guest there since 1995. It was here that MUZIK X-PRESS was born and from there has gone from strength to strength. While the boys wow the crowds with their 5 hour musical marathons in the main room taking in house, electro, techno, rare groove and some of the cutting edge tunes that have made them who they are today delivered with on 3 decks and 2 mixers the other club offers some friendlier flavours in the middle arch and some leftfield grooves in the third arch. With every event a roadblock and in celebration of their roots the boys are taking over the main room for a massive 8 hour ACID HOUSE set. Expect to hear some Balearic classics blended with some bleeping squelching rhythms all night long. In the middle arch two of music’s hottest producers. Making a welcome return to the Cross is Joey Negro. A regular feature on London’s nightlife and one of music’s most accomplished producers Joey has been rocking crowds for over a decade with soulful rhythms and funky flavours. He has been absent from the Cross for 2005 and this makes a welcome return. Also on the making a welcome return are the Shapeshifters. After exploding onto the scene with their dance anthem Lola’s theme they have been going from strength to strength with a string of dance classics coupled with a flair on the dance floor. Finishing the middle arch is Soul Avengerz completing this already massive line up! Heading up the third arch are residents Darren and Spencer. Carving out a name for themselves on the underground club scene they have been the unsung stars of MUZIK X-PRESS. Joining them is Back2Basics head honcho and party lunatic Dave Beer joined by Jade
