PUKKA UP STAGE MASS BOXING DAY PROTEST AGAINST

Over the last few weeks we have been told to prepare ourselves to say our goodbyes to the iconic clubbing venue that has provided a sanctuary for all clubbers over the last 14 years. However after much thought and deliberation we have decided to create a stance over this devastating crime against clubland and we are inviting all of you out there to join us as we protest….
“DON’T CLOSE THE CROSS”!!
The Cross has been a home for Pukka Up since the very beginning and has played host to some of our most successful events to date. Therefore we refuse to sit back and watch as something that can only be described as a true inspiring institution is ripped apart to make way for unrelated property developments. Therefore we are staging a mass protest at The Cross itself on Boxing Day (a little under a week before its due to close) and we want you all to be a part of this massive piece of house music history.
The Cross belongs in the heart of every clubber that has danced their way through a memorable night there! It belongs in the soul of every dj that has been fortunate enough to share their music with club. It belongs to success of every brand who’s parties it has provided a perfect space for and it surely deserves for us all to show it the respect it deserves by giving it a little bit back after 14 years and unite together in opposition to the closure in hope we can drive together a big enough campaign to keep the spirit and body of The Cross alive!!!
We have already been given the huge support of some of the hottest djs who have previously rocked the dance floors of the Cross. Demonstrating on the night will be;
Sandy Rivera (Kings of Tomorrow)
Trophy Twins (Radio One)
Jason Bye (We Love Space, Ibiza)
Young Punx
Rob Wilder
Dermot C
Scott Giles
Paul Wilkins
Tim Fanucci
Ashe on Percussion
Protest will start at 10pm straight through to 6am, we shall be providing you with all the materials you need in the protest including, but please feel free to bring your own placards and banners to emphasise your own thoughts and feelings on the campaign!!!!
Tickets of entry to the demonstration can be bought from www.pukkaup.com for £10 or alternatively add your name to the petition guestlist at info@pukkaup.com for £10 entry on the door!!
We hope you can join us!

im as against the cross closing as anyone else, but ive been on protests before, england marches right the way through the city. why have we got to pay a tenner to protest? if the protest is successful then us clubbers have saved the crosses bacon. and apart from it staying open, what will we get back? fuck all, you'll still get knocked every other time you go there just for having one more boy then girl in your group of friends, or just for wearing a stone island jacket. id be more then glad to join the protest, but paying for it, you gotta be winding me up mate!

Erm, I think this is just clever marketing rather than a genuine protest. It's far too late to save the Cross now unfortunately...
