On 3rd February Italian club/label Tenax comes to London to start a residency at The Cross. Since 1981 Tenax has been staging musical events in Florence. Emerging through a wave of dark punk with artists like NIco, Lounge Lizards, Iggy Pop, New Order among others, Tenax made itself known as an artistic centre for creation of youthful endeavour and it is this trait that has carried through to the 21st century. Now renowned as one of Europe’s top clubbing spots Tenax with regular slots from Steve Bug, Ricardo Villalobos, Richie Hawtin, Miss Kittin and resident Alex Neri they are coming to London with something special in mind.
In the main room Detroit’s new wave of electronic pioneers take control for the evening in the shape of Marc Houle, JPLS and Gaiser all performing love sets. Famed for their work on Richie Hawtin’s m_nus techno imprint their use of new technology to move the dancefloor showcases’ their talents. Joining them is a rare London performance by Cocoon and Panorama bar resident André Galluzzi. A huge name in Germany and continental Europe his residency at Cocoon Ibiza opened him up to the world and we are pleased to have him join us for this special party.
In the middle arch Kidology’s Mark Wilkinson gets down for some house music action with support from resident Steve Smart and Spencer Parker spinning some quality house. In the third arch Electric Sex join us for an exclusive residency. With this new residency we the’ll be bringing you some of the dj’s that have rocked our dance floors in London, Ibiza, Italy and beyond. For the first instalment they will be joined by Machine with front man Bones at the helm. Machine was one of the first nights that propelled the electronic sound into the scene we now know in London. Their parties and music are famous for their unbridled energy and exuberance, this will be the first party of their long awaited return.
