Having just been refused entry due to the venue being over sold how and when will we get our money back.

Would like to say more but to pissed off about what has happened. To be fair the door staff were polite but just as fed up as we were with having to turn people away. As a space and cross regular im gutted that we'v missed last one.

We were not the only ones being turned away but I suppose who really cares as long as the promoter gets their money...

I saw John Alist at around 5am.. stubbling out of the kitchen.. (Where he and his friends where hanging out)
And my lord I have never seen a promoter in such a state, the guy could hardly stand up... or even talk did not know what day of the week it was... how a guy is meant to run an evening in that state it's a disgrace. I go out a lot on the clubbing scene.. I know a lot of the promoters and in all the years that I have been clubbing I have never seen a promoter in such and embarrassing state on there night (Specially with all the problems going on.. he should have showed his face and said sorry instead of getting himself in a k hole) I no its NYE but please try and hold yourself together instead of hiding away in kitchen getting yourself in a K HOLE

An in any case, all you honeymooners really want to stick you head out there. There's a lot better do's than Space on the cards. Never have I ever heard of a promoter have such borderline criminal lack of respect for it's punters. You are all the mugs for following it, and there's only one way these c*nts will learn.

At last... a bit of sense. The only reason NYE went off was because of The Cross crowd. It had nothing to do with SPACE or there DJs. The music was at best ok, and good in parts...

But the atmosphere was amazing, everyone was up for it big time. They showed it with the atmosphere inside and the f*cking massive queues outside.

The promoters of SPACE ruined a lot of people NYE's and for that John and the rest of the A-List shower should hang their heads in shame. However I doubt that will happen. As I said before, it's a shame that the SPACE promotion had to do the last night and be so greedy.

I know a lot of people don't want to hear it, but it was brilliant inside. But I for one will not go near another A-List event.

Everything about that night was a LIE.... Shit music! Shit staff!! Shit event!!! its just all the mates of the promoters and organisers saying it was an ace night, but the truth is that we all know deep inside when you look at it unbiasedly that it was appalling!!!!!!!!!

I cannot believe how easily they robbed us all our money!!!!

I felt like a rat in a sewer! running around looking for 12inch of space to have at least a littler grove, but nothing!

The lady at the door said they over sold something like 400 tickets if i remeber right...we were told to go home and give up around 4am ish but we stayed put and i think it was about 5ish they let people in again...the place was completely rammed but in all had an amazing night!!!

...they knew exactly what they were doing...fair enough it wasn't the entry staffs fault..but the lady weren't helping by giving people BS information like 'there's no way ur getting in' or 'come back in 20 mins' probably hoping everyone would eff off and stop giving her trouble

...the ladies toilets were a joke and beyond!...thats why i sneaked into the gents (sorry guys!!!!! :S)

i really hope that those that were ripped off get ur money back!!

Well done everyone for coming to the conclusion that A List are a bunch of twats, Z-List DJ's & crap staff. I clocked 20+ of his mates getting in at 12.45 hrs while the rest of us mere mortals were told to fuck off. So - don't go to anything else they put on, simple.

TicketWeb is refunding all tickets if you bought them on-line from them - call them with your reference number and they will ask you to send in the tickets, then they will refund. Do it now while they are still accepting to refund, who knows how many people did not get in.

As for having a decent night, NYE has been written off completely. The next event for us will be on 02 Feb - it's an annual private party in Newington Green / Angel at the Oak Bar with REAL DJ's (Simon the Fireman - Dan Madams - James Piper and my good self) House / Electro + happy people, no attitude AND IT's FREE - so you see you can still have a good night for free these days. If any of you that like me did not get in on NYE would like to join us for this night send me an e-mail to slinkytroll@hotmail.co.uk and I will send you an invite. I don't know any of you but if you are up for a quality night of tunes and like minded people then you are more than welcome. Oh - and if you are reading this A-List you might like to pop down to see how a proper party goes. Anak x

Fucking hell, you were left outside for (at least) an hour, mugged off on the door, didn't get in til 5am!, you had no space to dance, and you couldn't get into the ladies toilet? Yet it was amazing?!

Hell yes he should have stop if he was doing his job properly, do you think its fair to the peep who booked ages ago to be turned away ? I dont think you would be very happy if it happens to you, especially on nye !!
