July’s Chew The Fat! saw The End club packed to the rafters with a capacity crowd, thanks to the likes of Evil 9, Streetlife DJs & Radioactiveman. Keeping the party flowing the Chew The Fat! crew have put together yet another stonking line-up for August full of new talent, tasty, low-slung beats and the inaugural good times that have become part of the furniture for this long-standing party...
RITON – This DJ and producer formerly signed to Grand Central has carved out a meteoric rise to stardom as resident at ‘We Love…Space’ in Ibiza for the last 2 years. As well as his hit We Love..Space mix album released on Ministry last summer Riton has also just released new LP ‘Eine Kleine Nacht Musik’ out on uber-trendy Aussie label – Modular.
THE BLACK GHOSTS – Off the back of their recently released and highly acclaimed, self-titled debut album (currently on the front cover of every magazine worth its salt) this duo comprising of Theo Keating (aka DJ Touché) and Simon Lord (previously of Simian) are currently taking the UK by storm. They describe their style as “perverse, personal pop music” so expect to see some perverted shapes being thrown down when they take to the DJ booth.
TREVOR LOVEYS –Trevor ‘Machines Don’t Care’ Loveys is probably best known for his label ‘House of 909’ which he started way back in the 1990’s. He is now busy with his live ‘Speaker Junk’ project in conjunction with wonky House guru Herve and the follow-up album to 2004’s ‘Instella’ as well as working in collaboration with just about every cool producer under the sun (Boy 8 Bit, Toddla T, Herve, Drop The Lime, Touché to name some!) on the Machines Don’t Care album. He’ll be bringing his deep, wobbly house sound back from his whistle-stop tour of America and straight into your eardrums at the End.
TOXIC AVENGER –You won’t see this Parisian DJ and producer playing without his creepy white mask on and his brand of heavy, distorted, trash influenced electro perfectly matches his dark image. With remixes for the likes of Chromeo, Tim Deluxx and Ladytron among many others under his belt this guy is one not to be missed.
ANDY GEORGE – Andy’s Lincoln-based night ‘Moda’ has become a by-word for quality underground House and recently earned him a Radio 1 essential mix live from the club. His smash ‘Pianoman’ single has received props from the likes of Kissy Sell Out & Sinden.

NO WAY BACK PRESENT...
Hosting the lounge this month will be Shoreditch party pioneers ‘No Way Back’. Headlining are Tapedeck who’s growing catalogue of artists they’ve remixed include the Klaxons, Jack Penate, Kate Nash and The Mystery Jets. Tomb Crew are set to go off with their unique mix of grime, bmore, dubstep, Electrohouse, Bassline and oldschool jungle. Support comes from L-Vis 1990, Bok Bok & Manara, Hey Joe and Mr J.P.
