For 15 years The End has stood at the heart of London's West End as one of the pinnacles of modern club culture. Some of the most legendary nights have been staged there as well as long standing residencies of international repute such as Fabio's “Swerve”, Andy C's Ram Records night and of course, DJ Marky's only London residency, DJ Marky & Friends.

As the saying goes though, all good things must come to an end, and sadly The End is not exception to the rule as in January of 2009, The End will close its doors for the last time.

So, in a combined celebration, commiseration and au revoir capacity, DJ Marky & Friends has pulled out as many stops as possible to make the last hurrah a memorable one.

Warm featuring Ali Tillett, Rob Summerhayes and guest Jazzanova (DJ Set).

After the rip-roaring success of September's event (DJ Marky & Andy C B2B) acting as a prelude to the final showdown for DJ Marky's only London residency, it was only fitting that control be given solely to the man with his name above the door so to speak.

DJ Marky takes to the main room at The End for the very last time with an 8 hour extravaganza, with support from MCs Rage and Justyce. Expect to see the Innerground Records head honcho dazzle as he cuts, pastes, blends and non-stop mixes his way through an evening of quality music past, present and future. The usual dynamism and flare will be evident as DJ Marky says his farewells to the club that has a very special place in his heart!

The Lounge sees the legendary shapes of Marcus Intalex (Soul:R) and Doc Scott (31 Records) step out of the Drum & Bass comfort zone as they spin some true deep Techno classics to give the second room a little something different.

The End's sister bar AKA, will also be open to DJ Marky & Friends patrons, and features the WARM crew (Ali Tillett & Rob Summerhayes) as well as a special guest DJ set from none other than the mighty Jazzanova.
