THE ROGUE ELEMENT – If you don’t know about this boy by now, where have you been? One of the hottest DJs around, he’s rocked every major continent in the past 12 months and is currently working on his second artist album. A Chew The Fat! regular, his End sets are legendary.
BAOBINGA & ID – Celebrating the release of their debut album – ‘Big Monster’ (Album of The Month in DJ Mag) Fat! Records’ enfants terribles are the breaks scene’s hottest producers, mashing up techno, grime, acid house, d’n’b (everything bar the kitchen sink actually) into a sound that is unique and undeniably their own. Expect them to get the whole club skanking.
TREVOR LOVEYS & AFFIE YUSUF – They make squelchy jacking tunes for labels like Dubsided and Spinout! They play quality acid house sets that wreck bassbins! They couldn’t make their last set at The End because their computer was broken! Check them out tonight…
ZOMBIE DISCO SQUAD – Legendary London DJs and residents at Get Rude, these guys are famous for their mash-up sets that take in everything from The Chemical Brothers to Bondo Do Role, Jesse Rose to DJ Funk. Making their Fat! debut tonight.
BADLANDS – Sinister Recordings’ resident production outfit with wonky, tekked-up remixes out on Fat! & Sinister in 2008. Southpaw, the man behind Sinister Recordings, makes up one half of the duo & is no slouch behind the decks either. He rocked the Red Room at Space, Ibiza in the summer, and brings his own brand of slanted, electro-tech treats to the floor tonight.
With ressie Kid Blue in support playing his usual mix of breaks, house and funky techno, expect nothing less than the best start to 2008 you could ever want.
WE LOVE… The world-renowned crew responsible for Space’s Sunday sessions in Ibiza bring their own Balearic treats to the lounge this month with none other than Alfredo spinning the beats alongside James Fiorito, Bones, Scott Martin and Tony Haze. Nice!
