Things can only get better this Friday the 13th!

Check details of the latest retro 90s nostalgia night to hit the London weekend club scene. This month with guest stars, none other than 90s legends D:REAM!

MJ Cole also added to headline-heavy Mixmag Presents: Relentless Energy Drink party

Tickets are flying out for the Mixmag presents Energy Sessions sponsored by Relentless Energy Drink happening in just two weeks time.

Yesterday we announced Drums of Death (live) has been added to the line-up.

Today we've added MJ Cole to the line up that also already boasts The 2 Bears (Southern Fried), The Japanese Popstars (live) and Retro/Grade (DJ set). Not bad for a fiver!

MJ Cole has made genre defining records throughout his career. His work in 2-step garage made his name but he's since worked in all kinds of dance music, recently remixing for Mad Decent, Primary 1, Drop The Lime, Wiley and Example. His breadth of knowledge and musical know-how adds a real gravitas to an already bulging line-up.

The party, taking place on Friday September 9 at the Relentless Garage in Highbury. While the headline-heavy main room blasts out all types house, bass, electro and nu-garage, in room two we'll feature up-and-coming talent in the shape of The Sonic Emporium (Wax:On), No Artificial Colours, Cake DJs and those pesky Mixmag Allstars.

More Free Mixes From Cake

The Mixmag All Stars DJ team (Nick Stevenson, Digby, Phil Dudman and ‘Der Elektrik Schlange’) are all playing at a party in London tonight, and to celebrate they’ve offered two more free mixes for DSI members to download.
Links to mixes below, but first here's the blurb
On Friday 22nd July 2011 (TONIGHT!) Upstairs @ the Garage Islington welcomes one of London's most exciting new club nights: Cake.
With a 'house party in a club' ethos, pub drinks prices and happy hours, cheap entry, a smattering of fancy dress, free cakes and the best looking crowd in London, Cake also has a unique music policy. Frequently rotating DJs mean that this is the only club night where you'll hear everything from the freshest underground house and techno to 90s speed garage, 70s AOR disco re-edits to indie dance, and electro house and breaks to hip hop, dubstep and drum and bass. The only rule? there are no rules. It's a party.
