Coordinated hold their second annual boat party aboard the Golden Jubilee on Aug 12. This year they have none other than the legendary Omid 16B as their special guest.
Coordinated-on-Thames with Omid 16B (sexonwax) By Will-Coordinated - Mon 17 Jul 2006 - 6 comments
Music : Funky House, Jackin House, Electro House, Dirty House, Latin House, Soulful House, Deep House, Progressive House, Tech House, Tribal House, Old Skool House, Electro and Breaks
After the sell out success of last years Pirate Party, we are happy to announce that there will be another suitably rediculous event on Saturday 12th August 2006.Coordinated on Thames 2 - featuring two floors of music playing the best in house and breaks, plus a large sundeck. Upstairs, the Coordinators (aka Tim Dingley and Carl Sutherland) will be joined by none other than the legendary Omid 16B for a two hour boat plundering set. Omid is a true talent of the underground scene - a DJ, a producer and the label owner of Alola, Disclosure and Sexonwax Records. Fans range from Sasha to Tenaglia, François K to Morales and from Digweed to Danny Howells. Omid's sets twist and turn from sexy tribal house through to dark, emotive techno - each set morphing uniquely to bring out the best in the crowd. Downstairs our resident Shakey Breakfoot Band are joined by last years boat party veterans, JMS and Far Too Loud. I think you'll agree with a line up like this, what better way to spend a Saturday evening than cruising down the thames ‘avin it! To add a touch of coordinated mayhem to the event you are encouraged to turn in with your finest pirate hats. Be sure to watch out for pillaging pirates and buccaneering babes. Tickets are on sale now priced £15 and can be purchased from www.coordinated-london.com Floor One (House): Omid 16B The Coordinators Floor Two (Breaks): Hotrox JMS Far Too Loud Time: 7.30pm - Midnight. Please arrive on time as we will be leaving at 8pm sharp. Departure: Temple Pier Dress Code: Some form of Fancy Dress is a must, last years event saw parrots, treasure chests and many eye patches and swords being waved at the tourists as we pillaged our way down the Thames. Don't run the risk of being taken for a non-pirate and being made to walk the plank! Tickets and full information available from www.coordinated-london.com or alternatively call 07967 110719. Be sure to get them early as this is a ticket only event and there is limited capacity. See you on the 12th and don’t forget to bring the Zwack!
