With so many different parties in London to choose from, it’s difficult to create something that stands out from the crowd.

Electronic Sessions does exactly that.

The boat parties that Greg & Ross Sullivan have been putting on for the last 3 years are truly brilliant – the combination of steaming up and down the Thames while flinging your body parts around seems to be one that’s working quite well together.

From 6pm till midnight the Golden Jubilee and it’s enduring crew play host to over 250 house-heads, each one intent on having a good time.

As the boat departs and makes it’s way briefly up river, most of the crowd can be found not discussing work on the upstairs deck – luckily London was blessed with a rare cloud-free day on this occasion.

Several beers and a quick u-turn later we’re heading down river, passing some of London’s landmarks – someone attempts to hang on to the bottom of Tower Bridge, failing to realise that he’s not quite tall enough.

As the fresh air coldens everyone begins to filter inside, and the party really starts.



The upper deck is already bathed in rolling progressive house, with Ses Memhi inviting everyone onto the dancefloor.

Tumble clumsily down to the lower deck and you’ll find Tim Cullen stimulating everyone with a booming bassline or two.

As the sky darkens and the dancefloors fill, it’s easy to see why this is one of the best parties in London. Whether listening to Jody Wisternoff dish out a slice of first-class prog, or watching Lizzie Curious bounce higher than the Thames Barrier for the duration of her set, chances are you’ll be having a great time.

Get involved, you won’t regret it.

Great party,a big well done to DJ Charli for her technically spot on set on the lower deck,getting the party people on to the floor with her great tune selection,warming them right up!

What a great event this one was, had a fantastic time. Jody Wisternoff was exceptional & was star of the night for me, really enjoyed a lot of what I heard downstairs too & Lizzie was (as always) on great form. Mat Zo played some superb tracks & I thought Stu's closing set was magnificent

Every DJ was ace - there wasn't a single point during the night when I thought the music slowed or became boring.
