It’s the news we’ve been waiting to deliver for the last 6 months... In April Solarstone will once again re-draft the dance music map with the release of the first chapter in his new compilation series.
Lifted from the veritable arsenal of forthcoming Solaris Recordings material, the 2XCD release will paint the definitive picture of Solarstone, the DJ. Standing out in the crowded compilation field, really rising head and shoulders above the rest has required a herculean 6-month A&Ring mission. Matched with its super-immersive, multi-level mixing, that is exactly what Rich is about to bring with ‘Electronic Architecture’.. We are very proud to showcase this new album on board the ES boat party on April 18th.
2009 has seen Mark Pledger in the studio putting together his debut solo album, this promises to be something special and again he plans to showcase lots of new material at this party, never heard before. Mark has been busy gig wise of late, playing all over the world in the likes of Russia, Far East and even in India for New Years eve. 2009 promises to be an even bigger year and as a good friend of ES we are pleased to get him down for his 4th appearance behind the ES decks.
Andy Duguid is a DJ we are all very excited to see make his debut in London. Voted by Tiesto as his favourite producer of 2008 his career took off in September 2006 when his production "Hypocrisy" was picked up by the mighty man himself.. Gaining support from the grand elite of DJ's and being added to Tiësto's playlist for many consecutive weeks on top of being signed to Black Hole after the bidding war that followed.
The official follow up "Don't Belong" virtually followed the same path, hailed by the industry as one of the biggest tracks of 2007. Don't Belong initially got signed to one of the biggest compilation series globally, Tiësto's In Search of Sunrise and it didn't take long before Black Hole picked up the single for official release. As a result of his high quality production work, Andy Duguid soon became a frequently asked remixer for numerous prolific artists.
If his fast paced organic development wasn't enough, Tiësto has now also named Andy Duguid as his producer of 2008 in the November DJ Mag. What a superb accolade for this rising star.
Alongside his productions, his DJing is taking him to every corner of the world; from his supporting role beside Tiësto during the In Search of Sunrise Tour in September (Planet Love, Stadium of Sound Poland, Privilege Ibiza, Antwerp Belgium) and onwards to the Ukraine, Amsterdam, Czech Republic, Slovakia, UK, Korea and Indonesia and then to South America where he completed a tour for Dance4Life at the beginning of November.
His album "Believe" is out now Black Hole Recordings and the first single release "To the Floor" featuring the stunning vocals of I-Fan officially hit the streets on the 28th of November 2008 with remixes from Magnesia. We are all very excited for his debut in London as well as ES.
Completing the line up upstairs we have our ever reliable resident Chris Salt. Back from a break in March this prog general will be dishing out the best driving beats you can imagine before the trance boys take over the reigns. Chris is joined by Mark Myers, a DJ who has exploded onto the London scene with some fantastic recent sets at Ministry Of Sound which have caught the eyes of many.
Downstairs we have Lizzie Curious and The Persuaders taking over the deck again. This will be Lizzie's last appearance before going off to Ibiza for the summer, although she will be returning for one of our summer parties which is good news! The Persuaders will be taking over from Lizzie fresh from rocking the Egg last weekend and these boys certainly know how to get the crowd up for it. They will be joined behind the decks by Rob and Dave Marchant whose progressive driving electro sound has always gone down a treat with the ES crowd.
Rob and Dave are legends in the London scene and are two of the most popular DJs on the London circuit. Don't miss them!! completing the line up downstairs will be Danny Stamp and Quanta. Both having previously impressed at Plastic Fondu and getting another chance to show you their talents at ES this time! Finally birthday boy Tim Cullen will be spinning on the boat for the first time since last year and will be joined by Danny Moggs on what promises to be one of our best boat parties to date!!
MINISTRY OF SOUND AFTERPARTY - We are proud to announce that the party will not be stopping at midnight this time! We will be taking over the Loft at Ministry Of Sound and have special discounted tickets for both parties together. DJs performing at Ministry include the likes of SOS, SEBASTIAN LEGER AND SPIRIT CATCHER LUKE FAIR ++
