Its back kids! After its fabulously debauched launch night last month (my god didn't we have fun!) its time for the next installment of fun!! After all those vodka jelly & ice cream shots – the first one is a bit hazy, so its time to do it again to refresh our memories at what fun we all had. For those of you who weren’t there – here is a head’s up: Do you remember birthday parties when you were a kid? Jelly and ice cream, pass the parcel, musical statues and hide and seek? They were such fun..! Well at the Hoxton Pony we have decided its time the kids stopped hogging all the fun and we’re taking some back for ourselves! Power to the grown ups!! Everyone is welcome whether it’s your birthday or not – come and celebrate yours, or just come down and enjoy the party! Expect: Silly hats, balloons, dressing up boxes (with all kinds of random bits and bobs), party poppers and blowers, pin the tail on the pony (donkeys are sooo passé), pass the parcel, the silly dance contest, simon says, piñatas, glitter bombs, vodka jelly & ice cream shots, sweets, ice cream floats, the soon to be famous “crap raffle” and the wheel of mystery. At the stroke of 12 we all sing happy birthday and blow out the candles and you all get a birthday bag with a nice slice of cake for when you leave! Music wise we are pleased to welcome the lord of party bangers – Mr Stuart Style. He’ll be whirling you into a birthday frenzy with a wedding reception style set – everything from Abba/Bob Marley/Madonna/Duran Duran to Daft Punk and Dizzee Rascal, if it’ll get you dancing and saying “oh I love this one!” or “remember this?!!” then its going on! As always this month the fun and games are hosted by (in)famous London drag queen Barbara Bush.. This time she'll be befittingly dressed as a massive birthday cake!! So get yourselves down the nostalgia-fest which is Birthday Party.
