Arcade
is the bastard child of the computer game generation. The resurgence of electro beeps and computer game squeaks has inspired us all to new dance floor heights from here to Ibiza and back. In homage to this pilgrimage of bass line beats Arcade was born, rising from the speakers and into London's finest new venue,
The Island.
The Island is one of London’s best kept secrets, recently re-launched and already host to some of the best parties in town. With a grand main room, Funktion 1 sound, central bar and massive mezzanine level, all perfectly complimented by the dark and ever so dirty rear room.
Arcade is bringing the noise with none other than Ed Kane. Making his name as one of the most forward thinking electro producers his full and thumping sounds is unrivalled and ready to be unleashed on our ever-so-suspecting crowd.
Filth&Splendour will also return to their latest home, laying down a menagerie of mangled beats and epic treats. Quickly becoming known for ever reliable but always eclectic sets, these two tear-aways will rip the breaks and mortar down with a cascade of electro, techno, prog, breaks and pretty much anything they can get their greasy mitts on!
In room two we are honoured to have clubbing legend Darren Pierce. We like oh-so-many were rocking out on the balcony’s of the Camden Palace to Darren back in his peachy days. His skill and selection of tracks is second to none and his bang up to date electro and breaks sets are setting the island a light like a city at night.
