Music : House, Disco, Soul and Rare Groove

It's a London Thing as Body Music's January party sees them shaking of those winter blues to the true sound of the UK underground with London legend DJ Paul 'Trouble' Anderson joining them for his Body Music debut alongside Neil Pierce and their hardy bunch of residents

Long Description:

The Godfather of the UK soulful house scene, Paul 'Trouble' Anderson has seen it all fully living up to his 'Trouble' nickname, Paul has delighted and infuriated in equal measures. In the mid eighties, with his Trouble Funk sound system, Paul brought his sublime blend of dance music to the warehouse scene. And with his weekly radio show on the notorious pirate station "Kiss 100" he played this sound to the masses.

And from weekly pilgramages down to his weekly Loft party in HQ's at Camden Lock to begging calls home having forgotten to put the tape in to record his Kiss show, it is fair to say that Paul has certainly been an inspiration to us at Body Music and it's going to be a pleasure to welcome him down to bring his inimitable blend of disco, garage and house - 'advanced dance' - to the Funktion One system at the Key Club.

An undergound name in the house music scene for the last decade Neil Pierce is finally starting to get the recognition he surely deserves with guest spots at the Southport Weekender parties and around the globe, and releases coming thick and fast with a steady stream of acclaimed releases with partner Aaron Ross under the Fanatix moniker.

Joining Neil and Paul on the night will be our inimitable Body Music residents John Oudo, Andy Bird and Pablo Martinez.
