On Friday July 6th at 11pm GMT, The Key will witness the collision of London’s most exciting club nights, Maximal & Prologue for a battle Royale of epic proportions. Maximal is London’s fastest growing party born in September 2006 its has gone with residencies at The Key and The Cross simultaneously, week after week relying mainly on just word of mouth promotion. Bold in its approach in pursuing a music policy that actively encourages the most upfront DJs and Producers of the moment. For this very special one off event the young prodigy Maximal versus London’s most prestigious and formidable promotions. The club night in question has been rocking The Egg and The Cross for over 6 years with show stopping eclectic line-ups featuring Kosheen, Matt Tolfrey, King Roc and Spetkre to name but a few… we would like to welcome Prologue to The Key.
We are proud to present an evening of unparalleled musical pleasure with our very special guests beginning with Alex Phountzi from the legendary Bugz in the Attic who will be spinnin’ some of the bands freshest cuts and house grooves for you very lucky people. Starring alongside our headline act is label boss at Incentive Records, Halo resident and regular guest at Circo Loco the mighty tech house hero Mr Monkey Roberts! Since its grand opening the Honey Club in Brighton has become the South of England’s number 1 nocturnal destination and there is a good reason why and their name is the DrunkPunks who will be pushing their distinctive upfront sound to you live and direct… But wait we’ve not quite finished yet because we have our Maximal residents and young guns starting with Chris Barratt who will be previewing his brand spanking new productions featuring on Stealth and Yoshitoshi and an exclusive productions showcase from our favourites Matt Thompson and Filth and Splendour.
