Pre-Wintery Vibes with Platform 12 & the Count of Monte Cristal

Good Greetings & Pre-Wintery Vibes to the Children of the Dawn,

Hope everyone is fully kitted out & ready for the hopefully 'Not so Cold' November... You'd think with us talking about the weather first up that we don't have more important things to talk about but actually we do so without further ado... LLLLEEEETTTTSSSSS GGGGEEEETTTTT RRRREEE... Oh Wait Hangon - sorry wrong Script... [Shuffles Papers Round]...

Before we give the full One Two on the low down of November - we have a few highlights from October worth mentioning... The Electronic Sessions Boat Party was off the hook!!! We were worried about it being cold as October is pretty much winter territory, but it seems our luck with Boat Parties & Weather continue as it was a Warm Evening Again so to all those doing the Sun Dance or the Anti-Rain Dance Diligently in the days running up to it - we SALUTE YOU! ;-) As for one of our top nights of the year HUGE THANKS to all those who supported us at our Koko Stage Debut! What an Awesome night indeed & it reminded us of those big events from back in the day which are difficult to come by these days & we wonder how many times in a day we can say the word Day in one sentence today!

Aaaaaaaaaanyway, movin along - This will be our last London Gig this year before we go into hiding and holidays till Feb 08.... Saturday, the 10th of November sees us welcoming the winter at the Platform 12 Event at the Key in King's Cross. If you haven't heard, all the clubs in the goods yards behind Kings Cross choo choo station are being shut down at the end of the year to make way for the new Euro Star terminal. So this is one of the last times you could get to party all night long at the legendary Key.

But before the throbbing 3am Peaktime Bass is replaced with some knocking Construction Work and hair builders shouting Oi Darling hows yer Mum - we might as well tear the hell out of it so wear your comfy kicks cos it's going to be a stomp fest… On top of that it's the Head Honcho of Platform 12, Clive Morley's leaving do as he heads over to Australia to take over all things down under. If that wasn't enough (This is starting to sound like an if you call right now commercial) - they've even gone so far as reeling in, in our opinion, currently one of the UK's most Awesome Artists, HERVE. One half of Speaker Junk! i-DJ Mag had a full Page Spread on the 'Count of Monte Cristal' last month & there is no denying his ability to jack up a floor! He'll be joined by Nick Thayer, Bass Kleph, 2 PhUnKeD uP, Chris Braun, LadyKilla & more so bring your winter coats but remember to dress for inside the Key cos things are gonna get heated! ;-)

Coming up on the 1st of December is Transplant - it's a little further north and our good friend, Anton Nathrass's, first Gig since his Move across the continents so what a way to Welcome him to the UK by throwing him right in the middle of the country amongst a few Hundred Raving Patrons of Nottingham! He'll be heading up the Trance Room with Greg Kench in support and we'll be joining in on the madness and heading up the House Room. So if you fancy a bit of a road trip, hit us back!

Dammit this literally has my name written all over it (Cristal) but I'll be elsewhere! I think I'll have to add Platform 12 to my new years resolution list at this rate!
