What are the pros and cons of being a woman in the world of electronica?
To be totally honest i try not to think about it, i just get on with my passion, music. It's a real shame though that there arent more women involved.
As a prominent person on the London scene – what are your thoughts on the city’s dance culture?
London is by far the greatest city in the world for diversity and inspriation. Revolutionary music scenes were born here and it will always be pumping out quality dance music across the musical spectrum,
Are people out to help each other or is it player hater central like Detroit?
My experience is love, I've come from the east end scene , most promoters and djs are all friends and started in it together, so its kind of like a family vibe.
How’s the Bastard Batty Bass empire doing?
Nicely thanks!!! We're just about to release the 4th EP, from magical afro space drag artist come electronic prince, Posh! He's an extraordinary character with outstanding music. The legendary Mike Monday has done a brilliant remix. Im very proud to have these two artists part of the Batty Bass family. We have our next warehouse allnighter installment on 12th Dec, with N-Type , Dubstep's award winning main man, Mike Monday, Mama's debut solo show, Batty resident Deboa, and myself. Dead excited about it!!! PLus our art genuis Alex Noble is about to bring out a new tshirt design, so some nice garms on the way too.

I look for artists with character, music with personality.
