Alright...

Went out to T-bar last week with the wife and Yilmaz. Quite good. In desperation for an afterparty we ended up at Exit. Through slightly spangled eyes we recognised some DSI degenerate and went about shouting at him "OI! Minimal Nick!", turned out he wasn't Minimal Nick at all (it was Buddies Added, the crazy cat) but coincidentally Minimal Nick was standing right next to him. Don't you just love clubbing forums. Within 4 seconds we were all bezzie mates, the narcotic treats were flowing, the music was pumping, it was like a scene from Human Traffic on GB. LOL!!!

After some stellar detctive work from the wife we eventually, and I mean eventually, ended up at some party in Hackney with the Exit djs. Lovely French people, strings of onions, stripey tops and all that. It was only for the fact that one of them went to the kitchen sink of his 3rd floor flat to have a piss or something and saw us wandering aimlessly down his street that we got in there at all. It was all a bit edgy at first but once the the booze and other bits were in free flow again and the house got all minimal we just had THE best time EVER! Until next week anyway.

Whether it was the DSI thing or not, I don't know, but the connection we all felt that night was so magical, so powerful. As Alex said "I don't remember your name but I really felt a connection with you the other night and def think we should start our own business. Perhaps you could move into my flat...". LOL!

We touched on something inspirational that night. A DSI Utopia. We are looking for a flat/house to all move in together and plan to start our own night. But what if we could integrate the two? If we could get enough people together, we could get such a big house that we could put the night on there, we could all just sleep in the same room for a few days. And the more people that came, the more we could get to move in and get involved. We don't have to worry about the police either 'cos one of my DSI buddies' brother is a cop so we'll be fine. Before you knew it we would be using one of the downstairs rooms as a trendy bar type room and we could use the garage as a corner shop so we wouldn't have to go trudging round at 9 am looking for an offie. We could also use one of the other rooms as a studio, all pool our resources and make some wicked minimal techno to play at the parties. We could get a pool table with the club night proceeds, maybe we could even get a pool!!!

A DSI eutopia sounds like a fabulous plan. I'll bring the cold meats.

Spoke to a gardener over the weekend who said he'll make us a vegetable patch. Now I know what you're thinking, "but Nick, what if there's no garden!?" Well, we can get a place with a roof terrace and grow vegetables there instead. Then in the summer we could have some AWESOME terrace parties parallel to Space in Ibiza. I'm thinking cocktails, sun, music, vegetables...and yes Alex, some CARNAGE too.
