URBAN NIGHTS returns on May 11th to deliver yet anouther slice of quality breaks action.

This month, we are privileged to be joined by the mighty Rob Reng.

I first became aware of this man’s production abilities early last year, when it was absolutely impossible to ignore the buzz surrounding his awesome ‘Shook One’ release which charted at No.1 in the DMC World Breakbeat Chart! The man has truly had a massive impact on the Breaks scene and has continued releasing quality tunes since then, consistently letting the music do the talking. To be honest though, I've seen him play out and he is a bloody good DJ! It’s an absolute pleasure to have him grace the decks at Urban Nights.

I am also very pleased to be able to present Kinky Jon (Kinky Mong, The Colin Firth of Breakbeat, etc…).

Whenever I go out, Matt is there, supporting nights across London. He really has a passion for the music and is one of those people who isn’t afraid to let people know his views, good or bad. He’s currently on a break from his regular Student Sessions show on NSB radio, a show I could never listen to (I have a real job). But I managed to get hold of a few archives and was honestly blown away by how good his mixing was and the quality of his tune selections. Something which was later confirmed when I saw him play at General Midi and Messy KT’s birthday bash. It amazes me that he is not on the billing at more nights and demonstrates just how healthy our scene is, with people like this ready to burst onto the big stage. To top it off, I think anyone who has met him would agree that he is a damn nice chap.

Plus there will be sounds from all the Urban Nights usual residents and live visuals from Entoptika.

Oh. And it’s FREE!
