NOVEMBER 28TH 2008 see’s the DC 9th BIRTHDAY BASH!!!! We cannot believe this amount of time has gone by already since the first party back in 1999! So come with us to celebrate our last birthday before the big TEN!




As you can see, we have hand selected our line-up to showcase some of the highlight years of our scene, incorporating, not only ‘Oldskool’ but the ‘forgotten era’ of 2001-2005 that all other events seem to overlook. We have given the years that we think are relevant to the artists we have booked rather then using a ‘slap-dash’ approach.

ROOM1 – History of DnB

ORIGINAL SIN – 2007/2008
Cream of the crop in upfront jump up D&B, and showing just why that is the case. Expect some of the BIGGEST heaviest dubs as well as the best of the rest from last from the last year or so.

FABIO – Radio 1 History of DnB Set
Fabio is one of the elite of our scene, having been there from the start. We have given him license to show US, his personal slant on our scene. Looking forward to this!

APHRODITE – Classic mid/late 90s Jump up set
During this era, there was one undoubted Jump Up King of the Beats. And it was Aphrodite. Expect the tunes that famed him. Bad Ass, Abandoned Me, Arsonist, Rinsing Quince, Callin the People… the list goes on…

TWISTED INDIVIDUAL – 2001/2004
By the time Jump up was making its come back and evolving from the dark techy days of the late 90s, Twisted Individual was at the forefront making killer after killer!

LEMON D – 1998-2002
Expect some big things from the Valve specialist. This era for Lemon and Dilly was like the Midas Touch. Everything turned to gold. A set that the DC Cru are looking forward to on a personal level!

NIGHTBREED – 2004-2006
With their Ram Records national smasher, Pack of Wolves getting Radio 1 airplay, these guys were not watching anyone else but pushing their own style. Malachai now of Cabin Fever, on the 1s and 2s.

PRIZNA (aka Terry T) with DEMOLITION MAN – Jungle Set
We thought about doing just the live PA of FIRE, but then decided, why not give these guys a whole set? What they were doing by then was killin it, so we don’t expect anything different at our birthday party.

BENNY V B2B TRIPTONITE – Any year, Stevie Hyper dubs sprinkled on top
Dance Concept label producer and manager join up for a set of dnb from the Stevie era with exclusive acappellas and dubs mixed over the top for a proper Stevie experience!

DEMOLITION CRU – Oldskool Jungle
Oldskool dons Demolition Cru to go back to an oldskool set after putting down the upfront dnb they EXCLUSIVELY play at Dance Concept parties. Eruption FMs finest!

We have organised drink promos with the Venue on the night to help get the birthday party off to a flyer. Half Price Vodka Redbull and shots of Tequila & Sambucca as well as third off Stella Bottles all before midnight!!!!

We will have the usual projectors and extra lighting in Room 1 and the Epidemik stall in Room 2. As always we we also be playing classic Stevie Hyper sets and albums in the front bar.
