Good bands with lots of potential.
Well, we were having a quiet drink in O'Neils, and we get a call from our mate calling us down to The Watershed for some band thats just got a record deal.

"Fair enough, might be fun" we say to each other... They were feckin' excellent.

Don't remember what they were called, but they were tight, even though they were shit-faced. Good luck to them I say, and hope the record deal goes well.

But hang on...

While the next, as yet unknown to me, band prepares the stage, I turn away & concentrate my attention on an Irish Girl called Michelle, and her boss Laura (Hi Michelle, Hi Laura!).

All of a sudden my ears are assaulted by the collective genius which is Subsource; a four-piece live breaks/drum'n'bass act. They're set was fantastic, filled the floor, and ended too soon. Until this Thursday evening D&B was fun if I was drunk enough. Now its Tuesday, 5 days later, and I've been to three more D&B nights/clubs. They turned me round, and I thank them for it. http://www.subsource.co.uk/home.htm

Coming up this Thursday is amongst others is Veto Silver (http://www.vetosilver.com), which look to be another impressive young band. I'll be there, make sure you are if you know whats good for you.
