An unusually quiet start turned into an fucking riot...

Phill Noda warmed up with a great set followed by some dodgy PA attempt by yours truly. ** note to self, get an MC who knows what the hell they're doing! **

Skipping swifty over that the competition got underway. All comp DJs were of the highest standard once again; full respects to Will Konitzer, HARJ and Formless who all showed true skills on the decks with top performances.

Winner on the night was Dr Fish AKA Ben Matthews from Bournemouth who mixed and scratched his way into the semi final. It was a very close run thing ONCE AGAIN with only ONE point in it... ONCE AGAIN.

That shows true testament to the quality and talent of the DJs involved in this year's competition.

Alex Parsons finished off the the night and for someone who's been concentrating on their production and not played out in a while he absolutely smashed it. Quality tunes, quality DJ and the crowd loved it, full respects mate.

Thanks to everyone involved, Alex Parsons and 16 steps for hosting the night, Tay from Pro PA Hire the core man of the night, running the sound system and providing the recordings (up Monday!). The boys from Illicit Audio for doing a sterling job judging and everyone involved in the background too. Big shout to Zoe and Bugbitten doing our PR too, without ALL of you this just wouldn't be possible.
