WOO HOO!
Last night was another blinder!

A smaller crowd than usual rocked last night's D-Joust @ The Whitehouse in no uncertain terms.

The £30K Turbosound rig took a real bashing while DJ supporters and Joust regulars tore up the dancefloor and left their mark on a night to be remembered.

The judges favorite with a solid set from start to finish was Ben R from London. Being the first DJ on is always tough but his performance spoke for itself earning him a place in the semi final on October 26th.

I'm fortunate enough to have had a sneak preview of the recordings and I'm thoroughly impressed by the quality of the DJs all round. Although varying greatly in style each set falls into the same category, DAMN GOOD! Some ballsey mixes, overlays, cutting, a pinch of scratching and overall just quality, credible dance music.

It's the final round on 27th September and it's time to get messy!. To celebrate the end of what's been a loooong campaign, and also to look ahead to the next stage of the competition, we cordially invite you to come and get trashed with the team ;0) (we'll be getting trashed after the competition of course)

Until then thanks to all the DJs, Little Jo, Darren Craig, Backbin all the way from Antwerp and of course our winner Ben R. Equally to guest DJs from BLaH! Tobe Lerone, Dave Garnish and Danny Clarke from Late Night Audio. Not forgetting the usual suspects, Zoe / Bugbitten on the PR tip, Clive and crew @ The Whitehouse and Alex Parsons from 16 steps for editing the recordings.

Voting for the runner up opens Monday alongside the recordings from the night, profiles for next round due in the middle of next week.
