..another evening to be proud of..
We arrived alot earlier this time to catch some of Funky Toasts set, nice one mate; enjoyed that albeit only catching a small slice of the three hour set - impressed with the mixing, there was at last some creativity to be heard in the mixing.. shame about the crowd downstairs being so small - the event was more a victim of the Bank Holiday dates as opposed to gaining from it; couldn't be helped.

When we got upstairs, a smoke was needed already so seeing the "smoking door" was shut, we asked the bouncer who politely showed us a roof terrace, decked, nicely lit with steps, not so clearly lit, down which more than one pissed punter slipped *smile* - we were amidst discussions on how cool this area was when bouncers appeared from either side and asked us to leave !! - God dam - it was perfect out there; alot more sociable than the gated pig pen in the road... oh well... into the 1st floor dance area for Mark...

To be honest. I'd have probably enjoyed Marks set more if it hadn't been SO RAMMED in there - obviously a positive thing proving Marks ability to draw and entertain a crowd. Three hours of good, some blinding tracks followed and we spent most of that three hours either dancing on the spot or leaping for the nearest clear area as it became available!!

Met some lovely people outside whilst smoking in the pig pen; when asked why'd we travelled so far to get here? Simple, the music...

All in all a good night was had and of what we heard of them, we enjoyed the Seratonin Thieves but, with daylight approaching and the club rapidly emptying (all those pissed up lager heads will never stand the pace (oh and spot on to the bouncers ejecting the white suit wearing piss head who was bouncing from person to person like a pinball)) we headed off for the car, eager for the next one and "other things" in between !!

Kidettes and Bunnies looked great!!
