Well, then! A Happy New Year to you all. You’ve had your chance for detox, January blues should soon be a thing of the past, well it will be first Thursday of February cause we’re back. That’s right, get yourself down to Soho for the first TT of the year where the 5th of Feb will see you (and of course us) returning to the intimate surroundings of Thirst with an all star house and electro line up to kick the 2009 season off to a great start. Not content with pushing tasty tracks via his label Grin Recordings or destroying floors with his silky skills on the CDJs, this DJ will without a doubt chase those dark January cobwebs away. We’re very pleased to present to the Thursday night faithful – Jack Michaels. Joining him is another renowned DJ and Producer. From the sunny climes of Newquay’s Sound Foundation via the London underground sounds of Proactive to the TT decks all while carving out his own sound via releases on DJ Pagano’s label Deviate, make sure you’re down the front for Jacob Moss. Since winning the 2006 Gallery competition, Craig Gunn, has gone on to gigs up and down the country and co-launched his successful project Daddy Mac fusing live music with DJ sets. Now concentrating on production we’ve tempted him out of the studio to show you exactly why the Gallery chose him for a residency. Rounding off the line up for this year’s launch party is another DJ who’s no stranger to nationwide gigs. Having taken an extended break from the samsara that is DJing, miss C is back and raring to spin with her new progressive sound. If you missed her at the HF Xmas party, don’t miss out again. Miles Gorfy takes one for the team by himself this month (we’re sure he’ll manage somehow) while Adam Symbiosis takes his noise down under! Of course he’ll be laying down some more of the beats that have seen him in demand around London and Internet radio stations around the world.
