Doctors (and oh so many nurses) in the house
Well that was a definite tick in the boxes marked 'fun' and 'success'.

It was great to finally meet so many of the DSI faces I've seen/written/sent CDs to. What a great bunch you all are. Everyone made such an effort. Us boys obviously looked the part in our surgeon's scrubs/doctor's coats, but the girls...you girls really went to town...you all looked 100% amazing/100% gorgeous. To sum you all up in a word: "wow"!

On to the music...

I enjoyed knocking out a funky set upstairs, but as soon as I'd finished, I just had to get downstairs asap (sorry James). It was my first time hearing Throb play out, and having bigged up their CDs in the past, I can report they're just as good live. Upfront house, no messing, no cheese, no worries. I'll be making a note to see them again.

Busy? I've not seen Trafik heaving like that before, nor do I believe the management have. I had to negotiate my return to the basement with one of the bouncers...just told him I was a doctor!

Lee and Kimble (the Moochin Allstars) rocked the joint, playing the tunes I've come to know and love since I joined Moochin. I nipped upstairs for the last half hour of Kelvin's set. Seeing how busy it was downstairs, I thought it'd be dead up top. Wrong! Just as rammed - dance floor having it just like downstairs and Kelvin was ripping up a wicked breaks set. Good work fella!

And then on to the after party...if Trafik was the 'surgery', then the after party in Walthamstow was for 'out patients centre'. Wicked fun! That was some party.

So, a new website (www.moochin.biz), a great night, and an even better 1st birthday to boot - nice.

I'll let Lee and Ricky break the news about # of doctors and nurses through the door, and more importantly how much £££ we made for the two great charities we were supporting on the night (we did v well), but I'd just like to say thanks to all who came on the night and showed their support - thanks a million.

Don't forget your-good-self Brucifer, having the extremely difficult task of keeping everyone buzzing upstairs whilst we opened the floodgates to downstairs. You really got that place started Moochin-stylee and it was busy from that til you returned to see Kelvin.

You did us proud B *wipes manly tear from eye*

I am feeling the love Mr Jarvis.

Was wicked to ditch the 'tough house' for one night (and one night only) and roll some funky beats out to the floor...made me come over all emotional-like...sniff...I'm crying now Lee...you've got me started
