Strap yourselves in folks, cos this Friday’s Gallery all-nighter looks set to be one of the busiest nights of the year!! The line-up speaks for itself really, with a formidable main room selection featuring four Gallery thoroughbreds – all huge favourites with The Gallery faithful. The night in question is Friday 22nd September, so stick a big red circle round the date in your diaries now! The DJs you might ask… well, how does Ferry Corsten, Judge Jules, Tall Paul and Gavyn Mytchel sound to you? LARGE? Just what we were thinking!!
First up, Ferry Corsten is a veteran of the scene, floating between trance and electronica as he goes. He’s produced so many classic dancefloor tunes, that quite frankly we’ve lost count at exactly how many there’s been… whether his unforgettable Ferry productions under the names "Carte Blanche", "Gouryella", and "The World", or his remixes of "Barber's Adagio for Strings", Matt Darey's "Liberation", and "Madagascar"… Ferry really is one of the greats. The same thing can be said for Radio 1’s Judge Jules. He’s been on the airwaves for what seems like forever and yet has been djing even longer!! The Judge still remains one the most influential men in the dance industry and his Judgement Sundays party in Ibiza continued to break records all summer over on San An. The Gallery’s very own superstar Tall Paul joins the main room mayhem, fresh from a glorious double whammy at the South West Four in London & Cardiff. Plus fellow Gallery resident Gavyn Mytchel also gets in on the action, together with warm up talisman Craig Gunn.
If straight up house is more your thing, then head to T2 for a heads down session in the company of the Refresh crew, who’ll be taking over the intimate space for the evening. Residents and gentleman around town Budd & Goose will be laying down the 4/4 beats around a very special set from Brighton boy Steve Mac. It’s been a while since The Gallery have had the pleasure of the ‘Mac-Attack’, so make sure you have your dancing shoes on ready for a good stomp! Meanwhile over in T3, techno purveyors Prehab take over proceedings with a firm nod to some of the bright new DJs of the forward. Step forward Jon Rundell, Johnny Arthur, Dave Irvine, David Murtagh, N Slay and Fraser Owen for what should be another ace room of tunage.
