Four years. What the f**k happened there?!?
We started Nodisko one wet Sunday night in the arse-end of West London as a bit of a laugh. And we're still laughing now. From those early days throwing hush-hush after-hours parties at Woodys at a time when most sensible folk were tucked up in bed - least of all listening to electro, of all things - through to big parties at JAMM and Cargo and our recent East End adventures at Herbal, Fabric and Hub, we've always championed cutting-edge dance music from the European underground with a sense of humour and healthy disregard for pigeonholes (they're for pigeon sh*t, right?). Brought to life by residents Zak Frost and Magic Jase, we've welcomed along the likes of Bangkok Impact, Cajuan, Claudio Coccoluto, Dirt Crew, Francisco, The Glimmers, Kavinsky, Lindstrom, Rub-N-Tug, Skull Juice and Simian Mobile Disco - and for tonight's Birthday/Christmas do we've done ourselves proud again.
Some would definitely scream at the mere mention of STEPHAN BODZIN. They certainly did when he made his live UK debut at Turnmills back in July, promoting his 'Liebe Ist...' long-player: T2 was at its busiest ever as everybody scrambled to witness the great man in action. Recording partner of Marc Romboy, Oliver Huntemann and part of the Systematic Recordings family, it's his first time playing for us and rather bloody excited we are he's flying over for another night of mayhem at the club. Also joining us is London boy-about-town LAZER, who's as hot in the studio as he is on the turntables: check out his tasty acid-funk beats at www.lazersonic.com.
