After a storming start to the year in January, and with a brand new DJ Box to marvel at (!), The Gallery sets the pace for an early contender of event of the year as the god-like Paul Van Dyk comes to town on Friday 2nd February. Unsurprisingly advance tickets have gone through the roof – so make sure you snap up the remaining tickets double quick!! PVD is of course the World’s undisputed No.1 DJ – he’s won DJ Mag’s prestigious award 2 years in a row now – and as far as The Gallery is concerned that’s been a long time coming!! His continual hard work as both a DJ and producer (of more than 10 times) has helped him secure this magnificent feat and now he’s numero uno… there really ain’t no stopping him. PVD now calls The Gallery his London home and we’re certainly very proud to have him as our regular guest!! Joining PVD is Sander Van Doorn – the biggest global sensation onto the tech-trance scene since Eddie Halliwell and Fergie – and look how big they both become. Sander made his UK debut at The Gallery and has remained a resident ever since. Other clubs soon cottoned onto Sander, but The Gallery will always remain his favourite stomping ground. It will also be an amazing sight to see the young pretender playing after the undeniable king, that’s for sure. The Gallery’s long-serving resident (now weekly!) Gavyn Mytchel heads straight to Turnmills fresh from hosting The Gallery Show (Every Friday on MOS Radio) and by that stage he’ll be ready to fire up the system with his driving tech-trance. The evening’s other slots are left in the hands of Ciaran McCarthy (early) and J Joy (late).

Meanwhile over in T2, the house heads wait with baited breath as Wales’ favourite double act – King Unique, head down the M4 to host their monthly underground workout, Curfew Time. Since going monthly at the end of 2006, the night has taken off big time with a plethora of wicked guests rocking the floor each month. For February’s bash, King Unique have decided that 2 hours simply isn’t enough time to twist your minds, so instead they’ll throw in an extra hour for good measure. Not to be outdone, special guests Audiofly will match them beat-for-beat as they play their own 3 hour mix of electronic battle-weapons!! Tipped for many to be massive in 2007 (the Italian duo also record under the name of Rekleiner with mulletover’s Geddes), The Gallery’s intimate T2 should be the perfect place to kick start the new year! Gareth Harding takes his chance as this week’s warm up. Get your tickets NOW!
