Following last week’s Free Members Party featuring some of the rising stars of the trance scene, The Gallery continues that trend on Friday 12th January with another essential night of the good stuff. This week’s main room features a wealth of talent featuring Matt Hardwick, Marcel Woods, Randy Katana and Mark Eteson, whilst Vaccine host another uber-impressive bill in T3 (but more on that in a mo!) Matt Hardwick remains one of the UK’s leading trance heads and returns after a hectic winter of touring. The former Gatecrasher resident has one of the busiest gig diaries going and can always be relied upon to tear up The Gallery good and proper with his super charged and emotive sets… don’t miss it!! Tech trance supremo Marcel Woods meanwhile makes his long awaited and overdue Gallery debut. He’s produced some of the biggest anthems of recent times including ‘Cherry Blossom’, ‘Advanced’ and ‘Accelerate’ and we can’t wait for his big room tech-trance to test the system! Marcel will also be launching his new compilation ‘High Contrast presents Marcel Woods’ at Turnmills, so watch out for exclusive giveaways on the night. Dutch legend Randy Katana continues his love affair with The Gallery, having been hard at work in the studio finishing off his eagerly anticipated artist album. With tracks like ‘Fancy Fair’ and ‘Pleasure Island’ having smashed dancefloors worldwide in 2006 expect even bigger things from Holland’s tech-master. The Gallery also welcomes Godskitchen resident Mark Eteson to the mix to play the all important 6am hands in the air finale on his debut. The Gallery’s very own Gavyn Mytchel also gets his hands dirty behind the decks, with warm up fave Dan Galbally returning to get things going early on. Elsewhere, City Beats host a more housey affair in T2 with deadly duo Deepgroove nabbing the headline slot. The Deepgroove guys have been veterans of the twisted house sound over the years and will compliment the City Beats ethos nicely. Other guests include Claude Lyons & Tom Charles, Russel Caten, plus Simon Francis and Formless.

Completing this extraordinary night of music will be T3 which is this week hosted by Vaccine Vs Black Hole Recordings and featuring a breathtaking array of talent. First up is Cor Fijneman - one of the trance scenes best and most unsung heroes. With a career spanning many years and having played all over the world, Cor still knows how to rock it big time. After seeing him rock Cream and The Gallery last year Vaccine went after Cor and fellow label cohorts on Blackhole to put together a night of upfront trance from one of the most respected brands - Black Hole Recordings. Started by two friends in 1997 one of whom went on to be Tiesto; Black Hole has always stood out among the multitude of trance labels as one of the leaders and it is a sign of Vaccine's success and the respect it commands that Black Hole will be starting 2007 with a collaboration night here in London. Also from the roster is Mark Norman, one of the label’s biggest success stories, plus Phynn, who returns to The Gallery after making his UK debut for Vaccine way back when the night was held on a Thursday night. Vaccine have always tipped Phynn for greatness and as predicted he’s gone onto become one of the biggest emerging names on the scene – being picked by Mixmag alongside (Gallery resident) Sander van Doorn as a Future Hero. Vaccine wouldn’t be the same without their residents, so step forward The Viceroy and Ben Beaton. The Viceroy has become a hugely popular name at Gallery HQ and has just been snapped up by John Askew for his Flux Delux record label. There’s also more of the good stuff on its way from Jurrane, who’ll be closing the Vaccine room off in style with his infectious blend of bouncing and uplifting dance music in only the way he can!

Don't Stay In mix of the week
