BEST OF UK RESIDENTS

Tristan Da Cunha (Back to Basics)
Dave Mills (Cool House)
Tania von Pear (The Gallery)

MAIN ROOM: Ferry Corsten (4hr set), Abel Ramos & Gavyn Mytchel

The UK leads the world with the finest clubs each represented by talented DJs who month in month out pound the beats and keep the dancefloor jumping til the wee hours! We open 2007 with two of the best UK residents to prove that the UK still leads the way.

Back to Basics in Leeds has always been at the forefront of UK clubbing plucking some of the finest talents to man the decks and their youngest resident, Tristan Da Cunha, is no exception! After forging a friendship with Ralph Lawson in Miami, it was Ralph who pushed for Tristan to take on the main room at the club and there was no turning back after that. Now A&R for the infamous 2020Vision label Tristan's star is fast on the ascent with top DJs name checking him as "One To Watch" in 2007.

Over in Cardiff there's only one club that every DJ longs to play at - Cool House! The brainchild of resident and promoter Dave Mills, the club continues to attract the best DJs from across the globe to it's dancefloor from Nic Fanciulli to Oscar G to Deep Dish. The clubs reputation is no doubt cemented by Dave's deep, dirty house sets and in 2005 he was rewarded with the accolade of Best DJ at the Welsh Music Awards.

Back here in London town, Tania von Pear, has been building a solid reputation and following for her end of night ground shaking sets of pumping house music that gets the crowd in a sweat! With releases due on Kinky Vinyl and her slot on Ministry of Sound Radio continuing to draw large audiences, Tania completes the roll call of the UK's best house music residents.
