The SMARTIE PARTIE gang are back in town on Saturday 14th July to bring more glammed up party people together to party at Turnmills towers like it’s the last night on earth. This lot always go for it hard and with another mouth-watering line-up up their sleeves this summer, there’s even more reason to get you all hot and sweaty!!
Watch out for a debut set from Koolwaters’ international DJ Marc Vedo. The Portuguese star likes his house uplifting, tough and chunky – so perfect for the SP faithful then?!! He’s a regular on the global festival circuit including the UK’s Glastonbury, Global Gathering and Escape in the Park and has another action packed summer ahead with club bookings all over the world. Joining Marc on deck duties will be Kiss FM’s Steve Smart. When it comes to dance music on the airwaves –Steve is one of the most important broadcasters in the UK, with 3 shows across the weekend (Friday Night Kiss, Floorfillers on Saturday nights and retrospective show Kisstory wrapping the weekend up on Sunday nights). He’s also one of the best DJs to boot and can be found gigging most weekends up and down the country… when he gets a spare moment of course!! This month’s set is one of those such occasions, so you lot should deffo make the most of it!
Huckleberry Finn continues his progression through the SP ranks (this is his official residency launch night!!) to join the guys in the main room, whilst the night’s legendary residents Carlos Francisco and Matty Wells bring on the party later on with more of the good electronic stuff!! Promoter Trace Harris flexes his muscles on the bongos, joined on stage, by his rather sexy SP Dancers!! Rah Rah!!
With 6 rooms of music on offer this month – there’s plenty more beats to explore, kicking off in T2, where it’s all about the funky house classics. Danny Dove, Chris Biscuit, Rasslin, Ramone and Chris Lloyd are the DJs of choose, whilst a hop, skip and a jump down the corridor in T3, Seb Zito (FD), Dirty Funkers, Nobby Smiles and Jaxon mix up all things house. The Audio-Freakz drop more dirty basslines in T5, with In House We Trust hosting T5 and Sinsation looking after T6.
