Drum n’ Bass night Primal returns to Turnmills on Bank Holiday Sunday 27th May, fresh from April’s massive sell-out party on Easter Sunday. After a groundbreaking 2006, which saw pretty much every major DnB player turn out in force, Primal returns for another blockbuster event featuring more of the scenes leading figures. Last year saw Primal confirm their position as a force to be reckoned with as the likes of LTJ Bukem, Andy C, Goldie, Fabio, Grooverider, Jenna G (Live), Calibre, Patife, Randall, Paradox, Marcus Intalex, Dillinja, Krust, Die, London Elektricity and Total Science fired up the system across all 4 sell-out shows. Primal also delved into the Dub Bass and Hip Hop circles with the legendary Cash Money, plus Klashnekoff, Skinnyman, Rodney P and Skitz amongst the guests.

So then, having set their mark for the year ahead at Easter, Primal No.5 should be another monster mash up, with the added bonus of Monday off work to recover, result!! Since 2004, Primal (formerly known as Stealth) have provided line-ups that span every angle of drum and bass and this time were back with a new room – Stealthrollers - with DJs that are on a roll right now!

The DJs in the Red Room need no introduction. We welcome back the heavyweights, - Andy C, Grooverider, Zinc, Bailey, Teebee and Spirit alongside MCs GQ, Rage, Flux and Stirlin, with resident Ben J and Kool FM’s Chef on warm up duty. The Liquid Room meanwhile, is literally flooded with the cream of the main players of the deeper angles of drum and bass. Featuring DJs Fabio, Klute, Marcus Intalex b2b Calibre, D-Bridge b2b DJ Lee, with Cleveland Watkiss, Fats (Tru Playaz), DRS, and Fozz (Metalheadz) on the mic. Primal resident Lady Flava is joined by Emotif Records Danny Shutdown to set the early pace. Causing a ruckus in Room 3 (the new Stealthrollers room) with some exclusive back to back sets are DJs… Equinox b2b Survival, Heist b2b Marley Marl, Alix Perez b2b Sabre, Jamal b2b Vapour, with your hosts, MCs Manikular, Double 0 and Sky, plus DJ Void and GT warming up. Finally, In the Loft we extend a warm welcome to Sir Bob with his special blend of Philly and Motown joined by our residents Nick Nice (Reggae), El (Dub, reggae, funk) and Alex Viera (Electro). Ch-ch-check it out!!!

Tickets sold out in record time for the Easter Bank Holiday, so make sure you get yours early for Primal’s May Bank Holiday Special. It’s gonna be BIG!
