London’s favourite house event – SMARTIE PARTIE returns to its monthly stomping ground of TURNMILLS on SATURDAY 8th SEPTEMBER for its latest dancefloor masterpiece!! Promoters TRACE & CLAIRE bring in the big guns to ensure that this month’s soirée is another roadblock success with SP crowd pleasers LISA GERMAN and Kiss FM’s STEVE SMART leading from the front.
LISA GERMAN is one of the capital’s biggest polysexual DJs - equally at home mixing it up at Fabric for DTPM or rocking it out in the main room at The Gallery, Turnmills. She’s also become a huge favourite at SMARTIE PARTIE following her insatiable performances earlier this year and now she’s back for more tech-house funk!! Joining Lisa on deck duties will be STEVE SMART. When it comes to dance music on the airwaves – Steve is one of the most important broadcasters in the UK, with 3 shows across the weekend (Friday Night Kiss, Floorfillers on Saturday nights and retrospective show Kisstory wrapping the weekend up on Sunday nights). He’s also one of the best DJs to boot and can be found gigging most weekends up and down the country… when he gets a spare moment of course!! Like Lisa, Steve made a huge impact on his SP debut a few months back, so TRACE & CLAIRE have wasted no time by getting back as soon as they could!!
SMARTIE PARTIE’s much-loved residents Carlos Francisco, Matty Wells and Rasslin will of course be dropping a few of their own dancefloor bombs as well, with Trace showing us a few tricks on the Percussion!! Anyone who saw Trace at the South West Four festival will know what a talented bugger he is on those bongos!! The gorgeous SP Dancers are also back for more high kicks and saucy poses!!
Elsewhere, look out for the funkiest of club classics in T2, where HUCKLEBERRY FINN, Danny Dove, Chris Biscuit, Ramone, Rob White and Bruno Golias will be smashing out the party beats, whilst in T3, it’s All Things House with LICKED supplying the 4/4 grooves. If you still want more, then head upstairs to Anexo for an electro house workout courtesy of Too Damn Glam or some filthy house from Sinsation.
