Mass Recordings host T3 @ Turnmills of friday Feb 15th, It will be the last Mass Recordings event before the closure of this historic venue. The headliners on the night will be the act of the moment TWOCKER!!! We catch up with Alex Calver and Will Bailey ahead of event
For those people that don’t know a thing about you, tell us something about Twocker and what you’re all about? Twocker is all about the music, all about finding new beats, and putting a new spin on the bassline sounds such as drum and bass and garage.
How did you two come up with the name Twocker? We really cant answer that . . .
Which DJ’s/Artists have inspired you in your career so far and continue to influence you? We’re influenced by Van Helden, Fatboy Slim, Prodigy, Andy C, Chemical Brothers and far too many less obvious names we could mention, the list could go on forever.
What projects are you working on at the moment? Top secret, you’ll find out at the gallery!
What is your biggest hightlight so far under Twocker? The support from the industry as a whole has been overwhelming.
This will be you first time DJing together in London and for Mass Recordings what kind of set can we expect to hear from you guys @ Turnmills on Feb 15th. We're gonna be playin all kinds of sounds, just depends what goes on on the night and the vibe of the crowd.
You both really have really big profiles in your own right what has been the highlight for you both so far? When we bought our matchin Porsches with the twocker plates.
Twocker seem to be everywhere at the moment with you playing @ Ministry, Mint, Turnmills as well as being signed or remixing for such labels as Data, Cr2, Vacation, Sheer and of course Mass Recordings. What are your goals for 2008. A fishing trip in west wales along with kicking off our own record label.
And finally a quick fire question who’s your favourite rap artist? Alex-Cyprus Hill, Will-Vanilla Ice
