SMARTIE PARTIE WHAT A SEND OFF!! MOST PEOPLE EVER RECORDED @ THIS AMAZING CLUB! "THE REVIEW"
Last night was always going to rammed , there were people queuing from 9pm ( not seen since last Harrods sale )

And the queue continued till 4am , with 2000 people lucky enough to get inside , there were always going to be casualties & we are sorry for the 100's that just could not get the magic ticket, we have been saying for a Month , please get there early , the rain came down like the great floods of the Bible! yet there was no stopping the determined , nothing in London would come close to this night! & you all did SP & Turnmills very Proud , we were pretty close to the highest ever recorded numbers @ this very SPecial club , i believe only Trade have had more people! this means Smartie Partie are part of the Legend that is Turnmills ( nothing can ever take that away now ) And Smartie Partie will continue to fly the Flag & move onto the next stage in the ongoing saga that is Smartie Partie, ive said this many times Yes Turnmills is/was? amazing but People make clubs & SP has the power in its ample arms to move even further along the road to ongoing Amazing sucess that we have had for over 12 years, we never think we are the best.....but you lot are , we will welcome your continued support in our next venture , because we all hold the key to open "THE FUTURE"

SMARTIE PARTIE "THE NEXT CHAPTER"

SMARTIE PARTIE have spent 12 years building there brand into the monster it is today! Which included a 5 year residency @ Ministry of Sound, where we became one of their most successful ever outside Promotions. Before moving on & up to the amazing Turnmills, where for the last 5 years we have smashed all records every month & in the words of Turnmills owner (Dan Newman) “Smartie Partie are our favourite ever outside promotion". These kind words have inspired us to take our hugely loyal crowd to the next stage in the ongoing forever evolving SMARTIE PARTIE story!

SP have been aware for many months about Turnmills closure, but we had to bite our lip & carry on doing what we do best & that was to keep ramming this amazing venue until the final dance. Armed with this knowledge of the closure of Turnmills this gave us plenty of time to think long & hard about where to spread our wings for the next chapter in the history of SP.

The Scala was the obvious choice for us, already an established live music venue, having hosted gigs for the likes of, Kaiser Chiefs, Foo Fighters, Franz Ferdinand, Goldfrapp, Scissor Sissters, Jamariquai, Joss Stone, Robbie Williams & more. Being in good company this vast 4 room venue was the perfect blank canvas for SP to make our stamp, alongside several other House Events already featured throughout the Saturdays there. This brilliant diverse venue gives us the opportunity to be creative & the scope to bring you something different.

Saturday 5th April, SMARTIE PARTIE. The 1st floor will feature Mr Ibiza "Alex P" playing Funky House & Club Classics alongside Jaxon, Wayne Eldridge (Clubtown TV) & Parliament of House. The 2nd Floor, this huge main arena will be fully theme, dressed in SP's spectacular Tour dressing, used in venues such as Privilege (worlds largest club). Music will be Driving Tech House with a tinge of Electro. Making his SP debut Dj Mr C (Superfreq records) plays alongside Steve Smart (Kissfm), Lisa German (Trade / Dtpm), Alex Miles (Bora Bora), Matty Wells, Jessie James B2B Johny Bloomfield , Folklore three, Tomo B2B Johny Morrish + Trace Percussion/fx & SP Tour Dancers. 3rd Floor will be Hosted by LICKED who will play pure Electro in this sumptuous Glass-room over looking the main arena. 4th Floor SP Favourites Pete Dee, Ramone, Chris Biscuit, Miles Weaver, Ross Mason & Craig Rock B2B Jon Vamp (Street Dj's TV) will be playing an eclectic cross section of All Things House , we welcome Twisted Sounds, and that completes THE FULL SP!

We will be showing the Farewell to Turnmills footage on big sceeens @ Scala

Prepare for something very special, the next chapter, that is the Legend, that is... SMARTIE PARTIE.

PLease add Buddies & lets all walk into "THE FUTURE"

IVE STILL GOT YOUR LOVELY GIRLFRIENDS HIGH HEELS

i saw him steal them !!!

Thankfully we eventually got in the right queue!! hey the queue jump tickets actually worked!!

and managed to gwet the last half hour of Jason and Rob's set in the main room..and boy were they amazing! they just got it bang on right tempo, up lifting and then a banging beat!

And then we just got pulled in to T2, and it was so good we never left! Waynes set rocked as did Huck and Pete's.

Really looking forward to the new venue, thanks Trace and Claire , see u soon xx

People make Clubs not the other way round & there are no people in Clubland to match The SP Family & its off SPring

You can have 1000 people in the so called best club in the World & it can be shit!

Or you can have 1000 people in a tent & it can be the best party in the World!

Do you really think Dc10 Monday morning is a good club yet its poss the best Party in the World.

absolutely completely 100% correct

this SPecial crowd makes it a very unique experience (and ultimately successful)

but so do the DJ's....and as always, the main room is my favourite....

DANNY DOVE / STEVE SMART playing an uplifting set
LISA GERMAN playing what i think was the best set of the night
ARIEL bringing something different and unique
CARLOS / MATTY consistantly supply the main room with high quality tribal techno

dont forget of course the super percusionist FX man Trace & the fantastic dancers!!!

pics coming soon!
