I WILL PERSONALLY REFUND ANY TICKET HOLDERS......
We are all really suprised at the response we've had for our nye SEDUCTIVE ALCHEMY event.

All 200 early bird tickets have sold out!
600 advance tickets are now available & will sell out before the event.
We will also have a limited tickets available on the door.

I have had several calls & emails with regards to the performers & overall event program.
Therefore i would like to state...

THAT I WILL PERSONALLY REFUND ANY TICKET HOLDERS THAT FEEL THEY HAVE BEEN
LET DOWN, DISAPPOINTED OR THAT WE HAVE NOT DELIVERED WHAT WE SAID WE WOULD.

I am sure that there is no other NYE promoter that will give u this promise.
Why? because NYE is 90% of the time is an anti climax.
Most of your usual clubs will be over sold & it will just be another club night with the added stress of paying double entry fee & being rammed over capacity - yes a major let down for what is meant to be a major celebration.

After promoting NYE parties for the last decade i wanted to do something different for NYE. So i went on a mission and have joined forces with not yr usual London promoters but rather a handful of interesting art & performance based collectives....namely ARThouse & Burning man festival collective HOUSE OF WHEAT.

We all bring something different to the table and hence we have given birth to an experiment called

SEDUCTIVE ALCHEMY - new years eve THE WAY IT SHOULD BE!

Let the experiment begin....

Right Shane - will you stand behind these words and put your money where your mouth is? I want a refund on the two tickets I purchased. It took over an hour to get in so we missed the countdown and spent it standing in line to get in. I was separated from my girlfriend by your overzealous door goons right on Midnight (to be searched/violated for the third time - why was that necessary?). A shambles mate. The bar didn't work, another queue to go out for a smoke, you had some guy shouting I hate the world crap right after midnight....the much promised entertainment was zero. One of the bogs was destroyed and never cleaned up in the mens.....I could go on and on. Please advise how I get my refund.

Hey hey Shane,

just a qucikie to say what a wicked night it was NYE. Had a fantastic time with the girlies. So nice to have seen everyone dressed up!

Shame about those shitty security outside. They were holding up people for no reason but hey, think most clubs on NYE would have had queues like that.

much ZOMBIE love,
Bex

Hey brilliant party. Really glad I made the effort to come down . Had a wicked time. I was stuck in the que outside at midnight think evryone had the same idea and turned up at the same time. But I was only there for about 15 mins and it was well worth the wait x

davefrommelbourne,

really sorry about the queue system & the security- totally out of my control mate.
This was down to the venues security & crowd control - which didn't work.

The problem was that all nearly all 600 advance ticket turned up at the same time - all expecting to get in before midnight.
I personally jumped on the door at about 11pm as i could see the queue system failing & the security holding up the queue.
half of the ticket holders arrived 10pm sharp & got in rather quickly.

Those that arrived after 11pm had to queue for a while - which is expected on NYE.
but i did everything i could & personally gt over 400 guests in between 11pm - 12:20.
which is rather remarkable - even if i have to say so myself.
If it wasn't for me - i am afraid you might have queued up for an extra hour!

please do understand that the promoters are not responsible for most of yr complaints.
i eventually rectified the door queue / nothing i could do about the bar or the queue for smokers,
or the one kubicle in the mens toilet.

please do understand that this was a warehouse & not yr local west end club.

as for yr comment about the entertainment being zero - i think this is not fair.
It seems that queuing on NYE & being separated from yr girlfriend has
tainted your view on the evening.

There was a full night of entertainment....
starting of at 10pm with a free absinthe entertainment, then at 10:30 with a fire display & drumming procession & then the live band at 11:30 bringing in the NY.
If u only got in after midnight - u did miss some of the show.
However there was still full performance in the second room until 3am when the DJ's took over.
Then the performer joined the party & carried on til the end.

so i think your zero entertainment comment was totally unfounded & based on your negativity from the queuing system - which i will mention again - WAS OUT OF MY CONTROL.
I did the best to get everyone in as quickly as possible.

Can i ask you what time did you leave the party as to miss all the entertainment?

I too have asked for a refund in a PM, but you have not replied. Are you now saying that you are going back on your word and refusing to refund our tickets?

have replied to your PM eventhorizon.
it's a pity the queue scared you off before you even entered the party.
come on - its NYE - of course its gonna be busy with a queue.

if u read my post properly - the refund policy is with regard to the performers & the event program.
i never stated that i would refund anybody for not being happy with the queuing system.

we had 900 people attend the event - the majority are saying its been the best NYE party.
sure there are gonna be a handful of people not happy - i am just glad these complaints are about the queue & not the event itself!

There only a few complaints which were are dealing with and will get refunded

I won't be asking for my money back only because I can't be bothered, but I think it's a shame that myself and the 16 friends that came to this won't be coming to any other events like this again. In the future I'm going to be checking whether the event organisers have successfully run an event of that size, in that venue, before recommending it to my friends.

Shane, I appreciate the technicalities of your response, but I would recommend that you don't make outlandish promises like that in the future, because as far as my group was concerned, we don't care whose fault it was, we just know that it was the most amateurishly organised NYE event we've been to. It directly affected our enjoyment of the night.

A lot of staff were trying their best and this is no complaint about what you did on the night, but what I'd like to see is a list of 'lessons learnt' to show that the organisers are aware of all the issues experienced and are taking specific steps to avoid them happening again.

900 x an average of say £20 = £18000, which is a decent budget for a professionally run warehouse event. Lessons learnt and evidence of implemented changes would improve the chances of the next event being successful....
