We in for a real treat as we have Cassy coming over from Berlin's Panorama Bar this Friday
for the launch of London's new weekly friday night @ UNIT 7.

After a brilliant set at Circo Loco a few months back - we had to get her back!

CASSY BIOG:
Catherine Britton aka Cassy, left England for Austria with her Caribbean father and Austrian mother in 1975. She spent her childhood in Vienna and Lower Austria, starting to sing and study music at an early age.

After a few attempts at the University, she finally decided to study drama and acting. She finished her three-year training at the Drama Centre London and returned to her hometown of Vienna, where she started to work in the theater. After a while she gave up acting, realizing she couldn’t stand the profession.

Her first professional step into the electronic musicworld was as a vocalist for Elin aka Autorepeat "Music Takes Me Higher" on Sabotage Records. Electric Indigo was able to convince Cassy to not only involve herself as a singer, but to also learn how to mix records.

After her first DJ-gigs in Vienna, Munich and further productions, she met Dave The Hustler in Geneva where they started working on a project for Mental Groove- Cassy & Dave The Hustler. Geneva was also where she met Luciano and co-produced "La Ondita“, one of the album tracks on Lucien-N-Luciano’s "Blind Behaviour" on Peacefrog and "Alpine Rocket" together with Mathew Jonson for Perlon.

With her move to Berlin in March 2003, inspired by the clubscene and the numerous number of artists living there and the abundance of the music she fell in love with, she started becoming increasingly active in Berlin’s clubscene and shortly after, became involved in projects with artists such as Steve Bug and Ricardo Villalobos. She also started her soloproject, producing and singing.

Ever since, she has founded her own label « Cassy » where she will be concentrating on releasing her own music, and she has recently finished her first mix compilation for Berlin’s Panoramabar, her club residency.
