As preparations for Lovebox in Victoria Park gather pace, the Groove Armada boys have found the prospect of one last live performance of the back catalogue too hard to resist. As the unique tents and arenas of the Caukus team take shape, the stage becomes perfectly set for a final London performance of GA 1997-2005. Eight years ago, in what was then the ramshakle warehouses of Shoreditch, the Groove Armada live experiment began. Hard to imagine then that in 2004 alone, they'd travel 46,000 miles on the road, playing to over a million people. Or that in 2005, their pioneering London festival would find a new home and GA and Mylo live would round off the main stage of a full-bodied dance music day out.

Stepping back from the closing slot, Tom and Andy are keen to be out front and enjoy the last couple of hours. "This is about more than GA, we're trying to create a festival in town, not just dance music in the park... There's going to be so much to see and do here, this time we have to end the day out there - in amongst it watching the main stage at our own independent festival. There aren't many people who get a chance to do that."

Having formed a new partnership with Caukus, to take care of the production of the event, expect to experience a carnival vibe and psychedelic garden party experience with colourful big top tents, traditional Victorian fairground rides and a wide variety of quality food and drink from Guinness and oysters, a sit down cabaret and dining experience to the usual carnival barbecue stalwarts.

Add to that an Acid House Brass Band on the original Victoria Park Bandstand, the world famous century old Spiegel Tent, an over-emphasis on providing more than adequate facilities for all partygoers needs including state of the art sound and an over abundance of well marshalled loos means Lovebox will redefine the quality urban festival on this green oasis of the East end.
