Hands Ankle Biter the 'Welly Thrower of the Year' award and asks for a speech.

It was a breezy afternoon there was a myriad of welly warriors on either side, but with my experience, lashings of finesse and hints of panache I came through triumphant. Now no-one was saying it was easy fairy came through with a valiant 5 yarder and bloorie came with the sidewinder which if it had not gone sharp left would have maybe been a competitive shot. But the true grit of this bermondsey boy came through. I would like to thank all my fellow competitors , my mum, the welly, the paper plate, the guiness bottle and anyone/thing else involved in the lavish set up and facilities that were sprinkled upon the comp.

That is a total fabrication of the truth, Every single ball I went to catch hit my hands in some shape or form. That photo is just after the ball had bounced out of my hands.
